Fallen Graver...
Sadly, this contributor has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find A Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find A Grave.
Bio and Links
Bio Photo We started researching family history in 2005. We have learned a lot and determined that we're not the only ones in the family doing the research. Bob, my husband and best friend, and I got involved in photographing some cemeteries in Washington State, but only small ones. Our interest is usually personal, however this is a way for people to connect with lost ancestors. There are States that have made it a priority to read and document all the cemeteries, and we know it is a huge task for any volunteer. We have found in visiting many cemeteries in our travels that once put in the ground, our ancestors are forgotten until we research our genealogy. Enjoy the photos that we post, and maybe you will find one of your ancestors. By the way, we do have family ties in some of the virtual cemeteries we posted. So if you find my posts, chances are you could be related in some way or another. If you would like a copy of our photos, please let us know.

Because we travel so much, we will continually update our address so that if we are in your area, we would be glad to search for a family gravestone for you.

I will be adding another memorial to our list. This time it is for Robert Earl Shepard, Jr., my husband. He passed away in Phoenix, AZ on 9-15-10 and will be buried at Fort Rosecrans in Point Loma, CA on 11-17-10 with full military honors. Bob is survived by a daughter, Nicole, living and working in San Diego, CA. Bob served as a corpsman in Vietnam before and during the Tet offensive.

Although Bob is gone, I will carry on the photography. I only hope that the quality of my photos will match the quality of his.

Thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers, it is appreciated.

#32536581 John Henry Allen
John Henry Allen is my grandfather, though he died before I was born. My mother shared information about him, but did not give us an exact birth date.
She gave the information on the death certificate, etc. when he died in Selah, Washington in 1939.
Do you have any idea where the exact date of
September 13, 1848 listed on Find-a-Grave came from??

Thank you, Albert Allen Hulse

Transfer Requests
I am writing regarding three memorials that are part of my husband's family history. I would appreciate the transfer of their memorials if you would not mind. The memorials are:

Merlin J Rogers, SR 27031341 and his wife Irene Rogers 27031375. Merlin was my husband's uncle. He is the son of Romilda Rogers Klostermann.

I am also requesting Dennis "Dj" Dullea 27054390, another relative.

My Contributor number is (#48439667).

Thank you to you and your husband for all of your research and beautiful photography. It certainly enhances the memorial page!

Would you be willing to transfer the sites of Carl Dettbarn, 27561526 and Ernestine March Dettbarn 27561502? They are my husband's second great grandparents.
Thank you, Deb #48576045

RE: Aldersons in Tahoma Cemetery
Hello and thank you so much for contacting me about the Aldersons that are buried in the Tahoma Cemetery. Yes, those would all be related to me and I would really appreciate your transferring them to me as you have time to do so. That's a very kind offer and I appreciate it so very much!

RE: Rudolph Ulferts #26676186
Thank you so much for posting Rudy's picture and obit from the Murdoch web site. Your work is beautiful and I wish all obits could be done this way to keep the front of the memorial like a family tree. Sorry it took so long to notice your work but I don't recall getting an e-mail from letting me know it had been accomplished. Thanks again.

RE: Rudolph Ulferts #26676186
Thank you Nan for your offer. I might not have worded my request correctly as I don't have a physical copy of the obit I can send. I found it by going to and searching on Rudolph Ulferts. If you can pull the obit off the web site and upload it, please do. I have limited computer skills and am not able to figure out how that is done or how to make a copy and send it to you.
