I've been on the Maple Hill Cemetery Association Board in Elwood, Illinois since about 1981 and have been president since 1992. The previous president was Lavern Coldwater. I was born October 18, 1947 and have lived my entire life in Elwood, Illinois. I retired from Commonwealth Edison on June 30, 2001 after working at Dresden Nuclear Power Station for 30 years. There are 8 cemetery board members and we have our annual meeting in April. The present board members as of this date, April 20, 2017, are Terry Weidemann (President), Tad Tyler (Vice-President), Rayna Brophy (Treasurer), Sue Sewall (Secretary), Ray Hemphill, Jeff Cromer, and Bob Blum.|

|Kathy||Forrest and Carrie Lichtenwalter|
Thank you for your edit linking Forrest and Carrie.
If this is your family, I would be happy to transfer them to you. My Lichtenwalter cousins share common ancestors with Forrest in Solomon and Mary Lichtenwalter, but are a different family line.
If they aren't your family, and you are doing this to record and correct cemetery information, thank you for your work! I "inherited" all of the Lichtenwalter memorials when the member who posted them passed on. I don't know this branch of the family, and appreciate all the help I can get!

Yes, because the spelling should be i before e. I didn't notice if the funeral home had it wrong, but my daughter-in-law's Grandmother (sister-in-law to Norman) died last year and I was checking on her obituary....when I found the error. Thanks....for posting to findagrave.com.

Memorial # 160358382 You have the name spelled incorrectly.....It should be Norman E. Wietting, Jr. ....please check the obituary.
Thank you, Judy Farmer
Yikes! Thanks so much for catching my typo on the DOD.

|Mary Ann Petersen Giordano||Missing Sibling/Missing Child|
Hi Terry W.
I have a question about siblings on Arthur C. Petersen and missing child on Arthur Charles Petersen. Do siblings have to be dead to be listed?? I am the sister to Arthur C and daughter of Arthur Charles. My name is Mary Ann Giordano (nee Petersen) born 1949. They are located in Maple Hill Cemetery in Elwood.

Would you link Chris's paternal grandparents -Keith and Thelma Corbin (in Oakwood Cemetery) like you did his maternal grandparents? Thank you.

|Mary Pritchard||William R. Morgan was son of Eliza Ann Storrs Morgan|
Hi Terry, I am Ralph McQueen's daughter and have been working on family history of the McQueen and Morgan families. Moses and Elizabeth Ann Storrs Morgan are my great-great grandparents. Please add William Rueben Morgan (1844-1876) as a child. He and wife, Maria Elizabeth Ellenwood Morgan resided on the Moses Morgan homestead, where my grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Morgan McQueen was born. BTW, I was the flower girl in LaVerne Coldwater's wedding. Thank you. Mary E. McQueen Pritchard, Hinckley, IL

Update is completed. Do you know if he served during wartime and what his rank was? I try to make sure veterans get all the recognition they deserve.
