Hometown of Hammond, Indiana, near Chicago. I now live in Boise, Idaho. I've worked full time in EMS as a paramedic and instructor since 1978. I also have worked part time for funeral homes in the area. My EMS work has included an EMS provider, manager, educator, and in communications. I've been photographing cemeteries and grave sites since 1999. I have developed a presentation on the art and symbolism of gravestones and cemeteries which I give through the city's Community Education system and at genealogy/ family history conferences, and to various historical groups. I also give historical tours of cemeteries in Boise and am a tour guide at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary.|
I'm happy to edit my entries, but PLEASE have positive proof before submitting them. I've had way too many edits that turn out to be incorrect. Be sure of your information first, please. Before sending me edits, PLEASE MAKE SURE IT'S MY ENTRY. Just because I have a photo on the entry doesn't mean I made the entry.
If requesting a transfer I will gladly do so if you are immediate family (parents, children, grandchildren). PLEASE PROVIDE THE Findagrave ENTRY NUMBER, not just the name. (Do you realize how many James Smiths there are?) and YOUR F.A.G. member number as well. I allow the use of my photos for personal use only. Not to place on other websites. If you wish to use one of my photos, please ask and I'll send it to you in it's original (larger) resolution.
I'm always available to photograph graves in the Boise/Ada County, Idaho and surrounding areas. My ISP doesn't send me photo requests for some reason, but feel free to e-mail me directly if you have any requests.

|Mary Gathman-Kent||Your record for Ida L. Gathman #9260711|
Hello again David:
I hate to be a pain, but it appears that your record for my great aunt Ida is a duplicate record for a more complete one (#58936902).
Would you please either transfer me her record or delete it?
I think as I keep finding family members in RestHaven, I will have to keep messaging you. :)
Thank you so much!!

|Mary Gathman-Kent||Your record for Henry Gathmann #9260738|
Heinrich "Henry" Christian Friedrich Gathmann was my paternal Great Great Grandfather.
The record you created is incomplete and a duplicate of a full memorial for him (https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=58840722).
I was wondering if you would either delete your record or transfer it to me? My number is #47865298.
Please let me know what you would like to do.

David, you're the first Bojorques I have ever heard of. I need to know how your linage goes back to mine. Alexander T Bojorques is my grandfather, his father was Tomas, his father was Ysidoro and his father was Angle. Now where Angle came from I'm not sure. I know that when Ysidoro was baptised, the story goes that this Angel was killed either shortly before or after this Baptismal and that would have been somewhere between 1852-1853. Ysidoro's mother was Flicidad. (mis-spelled) I have seen families who have Bartholomew, but that Angle died in 1868;so I have my doubts. I'd welcome any info you have. I also know it is easier to go through e-mail so my email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org. April
|Terri Rick||William Rick #7916591|
I was wondering where you found the information on William Rick buried in Bachelor Grove cemetery. He was an ancestor of my husband and we hit a dead end on any information on him. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
|April Ilene Price-Hunter-Judy||RE: Cemetary Pictures|
My relative in the Bojorques Family starts with my Mother: Deloris Betty who was born in 1926 under the name Walsh. It was between the time Uncle Gilbert Bojorques Born 1923 and my mother were born that my grandfather started to use the name of Walsh. He had to have been out of the Military before this time as his Military papers have his name as Alexander Tomas Bojorques.
Betty was born 31 Aug 1926 in San Jose, Santa Clara and died in Portland, Or. 1906. She was buried in a small cemetary in Kooskie, Idaho along side her 2nd Husband, whose family is from there.
Her father, Alexander or Albert know to all of us simply as Al and you have his information as he was buried in Lodi. His wife of 60 years was Inez Agnes Simpson who was born 18 Jan 1905 in Bisbee, Cochise, Arizona and died 16 July 1988 in Lewiston, Idaho was buried in the Kooskie, Cemetary.
His father, Tomas Bojorques was born 23 Dec 1898 and died 20 January, I thing in San Benito, CA. He died in San Benito and was buried in the cemetery there. He Married Maria Margerita Guadalupa Vargas and she was born 22 Feb 1874 in Monterey, CA. She died 28 Jan 1937 in Alameda, CA. Not sure where she is buried. Thomas was married at least twice, but Marie was the mother of my grandfather.
His other wife, had at least 3 other sons. The only one I knew was Tony who was living in Stockton when I met him at my grandparents 50th Anniversary party.
Tomas's father was Ysidore (Isidoro) S. Bojorques born 18 Apr 1853 somewhere around San Juan Batista mission. He died 12 Jan 1917 in Los Banos, CA and was buried there. He married first Juana Bustamente abt 1957 possibly in New Mexico or California someplace. and died in abt 1878. No idea where she was buried. She had two children by him: Aastacio born abt 1876 and Tomas Bojorques 1898. He later married Helen, who was Tomas's wife's sister.
Ysidore's father was, Angle Bojorques, whom we have no idea when he was born, but the early story's say that he was shot abt 1854 & it took place on the Merced River, probably on the old Stockton-Fort Miller Road, near the Merced Ranch, California. San Batista records show that Angle was not present at Ysidore's baptismal and thought to have died shortly before it. Some people have used Bathomolue (Spelling is incorrect) but his son died in 1768 and that's about 14 years after Angle is supposed to have died. So I'm not sure who his father was. His mother was Falicidad, whom Angle kidnapped from the Castro household and had a child by him, Ysidoro. The priest as San Juan Batista Mission placed her as being born abt 1826 and she was born someplace around San Luis Obispo,CA. The priest gave her the last name of Castro as she was place in that families home. and died 19 Jun 1907 in Los Banos, Ca and was a full blooded Indian. She was buried in Los Banos. To our knowledge she was never married to Angle.
This is as far as we know about this Bojorques family. There are records of Felicidad at the Mission San Juan Batista. Of course they are in Spanish and the spanish language died with our Grandfather. He, unfotunately, didn't teach it to any of his children or grandchildren.
