Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family for many years sometimes spending hours and hours sorting through information in the court houses. Since the computer era, I have been a member of and have transfered my accumlation of documents and photos to my tree. I have been very fortunate to have personally known 6 of my 8 great grand parents with the last one passing away in 2000 at the age of 99.

The lines that I have researched are Allen, Goin, Franklin, Marvel, Willis, Tucker, McGehee and McPherson. So far I have approximately 4,000 family members in my tree. As I approach retirement, I may try to write a book on my family but we will see.

I live in Central Illinois where I grew up in the 1960's. The majority of my ancestors are from Southern Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee. I am very willing to assist anyone with the information that I have, just send me a note. If you need a photo from somewhere near me, just let me know and I will do my best.

Jeff Allen
Central Illinois.

RE: Fred D. Hubbell
I don't have a photo for his wife. My husband's grandparents are buried at Calvary Cemetery. While we were there a few years ago, I took a few more photos of those in the area of his grandparents. We don't live near there and we didn't have much time to spend there or I would have taken more. I kind of doubt that she was buried by him because I probably would have taken a photo of hers, also. I just checked at and didn't see a death certificate for her, only for Fred. Maybe she remarried, since he died so young. Hope you find where she is buried!

RE: Infant Allen 153697754
Jeff you just missed that there was an Infant Son with dates at the bottom of the parents headstone.

Would you be so kind to do the request for transfer with the Edit Tabs so that I don't make an error and I have a record as well. Thanks for all the work that you have done to make this site better for so many! Shelia

Infant Son Allen
Jeff, not sure if you are related to this Allen family, but found that this Infant Son was listed on parents headstone but had no memorial. Please add your photo of headstone, also would like to transfer this memorial to your care, with your permission. Shelia

RE: Audus Cemetery

The two cemeteries are one in the same.

On some of the death certificates, the place of burial was listed as Dunmor, Kentucky. However, the cemetery is physically located in Logan County. Therefore, without actually knowing the area and visiting the cemetery, it would seem logical that there was an Audas Cemetery in each county.

I photographed all markers in the cemetery, and posted them to the memorials under both Find-a-Grave listings for Audas Cemetery.

I have sent a request to Find-a-Grave to have the two cemetery listing merged.

The community of Dunmor is listed in Muhlenberg County. However, I have students in class who live in Muhlenberg County, have Logan County phone numbers, and Todd County mailing addresses. So even today, this is a confusing geographical location.

This area is around Lake Malone State Park which extends into the three counties. When researching, it may appear that a family relocated to another county between census records, when in reality they never moved.

McPherson-Heltsley Cemetery, Logan Co, KY

If you have time, will you look over the memorials in McPherson-Heltsley Cemetery to see if you can make any additional links to family members?

Jim McPherson's obituary
Thank you for this. Do you have his wife's obituary? Are you related? These are friends of my deceased aunt and I would be glad to let a relative manage them. Let me know, please.
