RE: Margaret Sutton
Hello, I did some research on Margaret Sutton and took some liberties in linking her to her husband (John Wesley Sutton-#24393091) who I believed was buried in same cemetery (Englewood) and some of their children. She was buried next to a daughter, Catherine Lavinia Giesing, who also did not have a marker. The sources for my info were census records and a "Giesing" site on Rootsweb. It appears both Margaret & husband John died in Nebraska but were buried in Englewood. Their 18 year old son (Francis D.) was also buried in Englewood. The edit to link her to John W. Sutton has not been accepted at this time.

RE: Elizabeth Andrews
Unfortunately, I don't have any idea where she is buried. You would think she would be buried near Steve, wouldn't you?

Francis Martin

My name is Dave Martin, Oklahoma. I have reason to believe that this Francis Martin may be a brother, nephew or cousin to my gggg grandfather John Pigg Martin born 1777 in Henry County, Virginia. Do you have any info on this man or his family that could help?

Margaret Sutton
We went down to Pawnee City yesterday and searched for the grave of Margaret Sutton. The cemetery book shows the same plot information that is listed on the FindAGrave memorial, Hazel Cemetery, S 1/2 - 7 - 5. It is a bit confusing. There is a section 7 in the North addition but it doesn't have a lot 5 in it. There is a Plot 7 in the Hazel Addition but I don't know what the 5 would be. There is also a plot 5 in the Hazel Addition. We searched as best we could in all three of these areas, but didn't find anything. The closest we came is a Margaret Hutchman in Plot 5. There is already a picture posted for her. The cemetery book did not have any date information for Margaret so it's very hard to find. I didn't post a problem for this because we are new to that cemetery and it's possible that someone else can decipher it better than we can. Wish I could be of more help.

I saw your request for Jacob Ferree. That cemetery no longer exists. It was more than likely moved to Spring Hill Cemetery in Shippensburg. I checked the Spring Hill records and it does not list Jacob as being buried there. The problem is that when a cemetery was moved in the reinterred did not seem to get entered into the cemetery records. Spring Hill did not officially begin until 1861. Jacob died 1830 and was probably later moved into Spring Hill unless a family member would have had his remains moved somewhere else. Spring Hill is over 35 acres and if Jacob is there he might be hard to find, that is if he has a headstone. If I find anything else out about Jacob I will let you know.

Lillian Ward
Hello. I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that Lillian is buried next to Arthur Ward. I had added a memorial for him, with photos and a link. I hope this aids your research.

Best Regards,

Diana, just transferred Clarence to you. Have been meaning to.

I had an edit request for him. The lady said the funeral home records states he was born Garland, Tex. and died at home, Del City. My info. came from either Blanche Craft or Melva Reed. Do what you think is correct.
