Hi Teresa - I'm thrilled that this was of use to you and your family. I used to live a few miles from this church, in the neighboring town, and only got through photographing about a third of the cemetery and of that third I only got around to uploading a fraction of what I've actually photographed. I'm happy to transfer ownership of the record but I'll kindly ask that you e-mail me a link to the exact record you are asking about. I don't log onto here often (I live overseas now and have suspended my own cemetery visiting activities for a while!) and this would make my life a lot easier.
Thank you and take care!! -Robert

Transferring Andrew to me would be great. Helen's brother Walter is my dad.
Has your research obtained any information on Helen's grandparents. The parents of Joseph Lach or Anna Gondek? I have their names, but not much else.
I know it is Charles and Katherine on the Lach side and Albert and Mary on the Gondek side. I don't know anything else. I have the original marriage application for Joseph and Anna (Gondek).

I transferred her to you, Read your bio about searching in PA. I was up there about 4 yrs ago. If you ever need to search Fayette Co. this web site is wonderful http://www.pagenweb.org/~fayette/index.html They may have a page for other counties.

Hello, I posted a picture of my grandmother Anna Gondek and some of her children. I have more pictures I am working on (scanning in). Is Anna Gondek your grandmother?

Thanks for the source of the obit. I'll rework the obit to comply with Find A Grave rules. Thanks for your thoughtful contribution to the memorial.

You recently sent an edit that includes what appears to be an obituary for James R Corley. Where was the obituary published, and did you receive their permission to reprint it? If you didn't get the permission, it's not a problem. Although I can't post it verbatim without violating their copyright, I can paraphrase the genealogical material and post it to the site.

Oops! I assumed since your bio said you do archived newspapers, you had that. Try this link, http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=djft3U1LymYC&dat=19270214&printsec=frontpage&hl=en then scroll across to page 6.
If that doesnít work, itís the Pittsburgh Press, February 14, 1927, page 6. Iíll post her death certificate to her memorial in case you donít have it.

The original photo belongs to another photographer that we are helping, so I canít authorize itís use. However, we went and re-shot the photograph this morning. Itís posted to her memorial now. I felt it was the least we could do considering the circumstances of her death. You can use our photo anyway youíd like, but please donít use that other photo.
Have you ever looked into whether there was a coronerís inquest? They take care of that on-line now and donít charge the fee ($12) unless they find one. If you e-mail the name and date of death to: email@example.com they will do a free search, then let you know how to follow up. Their phone number is 412-648-3232. It is an archive department of Pitt University.

There is a George and Mary Volk buried at St Louis Cemetery in Batesville. Are these the parents of Sylvester? Also, let me know if you would prefer transfer.

I am always willing to reunite families. If I have any memorials that you could claim as yours I would be happy to transfer them.
