|CLee Burton||Mary A Dille|
Thanks for posting a pic and info from the tombstone of Mary Annetta (Marsh) Dille at the Jacksonville Cemetery in Wind Ridge, PA. It helped me to fill in a blank. She was a Marsh whose father (a great grandfather of mine), Philip, was one of the first pastors of the Church which is located near the cemetery. Like you, I believe that it is far better to share the information than just keep it to ourselves. Thanks again, Lee

On April 2, 1917, 100 years ago, employees of People Natural Gas Company at the Brave Compression Station were repairing a leaky connection joint just between the main plant and the gasoline plant. Apparently, a shut-off valve failed, allowing gas to enter the pipes which then ignited due to friction. The resulting fiery explosion killed three men immediately and three more were to die within a day as a result of their injuries. Taken from "A Village Called Brave" with permission of the author.

Thank you for finding my several times great grandfather and Sarah Wright Find A Grave Memorial# 145224301. Great minds work together. I actually have done earlier entries on both of them. I'm not offended that there is 2 memorials, because you have the pictures and the locations. I live in California. I couldn't have done it.
My memorials are Sarah Miller Wright, Find A Grave Memorial# 142629815.
Benjamin Wright Find A Grave Memorial# 142628625
This should help you fill in the gaps.

I noticed you posted a photo of Mary White. Do you have a family connection to her? My Great Great Grandmother was Priscilla Ellen DARLING Simonton. I believe her father, Daniel, to have been Mary White's Brother. Any information regarding her parents, James & Rachel Darling, from Kent County De. would be greatly appreciated. -- Kathy

|Priscilla Porter||Hi Again!|
Hi there! Me again... I'm sorry to be asking but I'm still new to this site. I found my Aunt Gertrude and have reached out to the person who submitted her memorial. She will not transfer my aunt's memorial to me unless I abide by the guidelines of the site. I've looked through the site and can't seem to locate any guidelines. Can you please advise to maybe where I can look? Sorry to be a pest.

Thank you so much! Would you happen to know if there is a map of Centennial? I haven't been there since I was 6 and while I have an idea where my family is, I know some of them are behind the church. I wanted to pay a visit to each one.

How do you transfer? If you don't mind, that would be wonderful.
I noticed you are working on Postlewait. My dad said that my great uncle Thomas Lee was married to a Lorraine Postlewait. That was her maiden name, her married name was Johnson. Does she ring a bell?

Thank you so much for taking pictures of the Porter (and Johnson) headstones at Centennial Cemetery in Aleppo. I have not been there since I was 6 years old when my grandfather passed. With your pictures, I not only saw their headstone, but I saw other relatives as well. So thank you again. I'm planning to visit them all the end of May.

I just noticed you have his grave photo listed with them in the description, it just didn't link the parents to his stone. I have added it. I'm still figuring out this site, my apologies.

I wanted to add a family tie to your memorial for Lizzie O. and William F. Graham. I found a stone nearby for an infant son, Kermet Lee Graham. But he is not listed on their children links. I'm new to the site and can't quite figure out if I can add it or if you have to!

|Brittny H.||Jackson/Wells Family|
Hello, I am researching Gernett Wells and Charles Wells. By chance, do you know if this is same Gernett (Jackson) Wells - mother being Sarah M. Jackson? If so, do you know if Gernett and Charles had any children? It appears Gernett died around 1969 and Charles 1978? There is not much information on them.
Thank you for any help. I appreciate it!

Tom & Ellen,
How do I do that and what does that require? Will that remove it for others searching? I don't want to take that from closer family members but would sure like a photo to add to my family tree. I also like knowing where the grave site is as I may visit back east sometime hunting for relatives and more pictures. I see a donation section too. I take it you are a photo volunteer of some sort? I am knew to all this on Ancestry.

Earnie Grim added March 17th 2014 is a half brother of my Grandfather Homer Grim and related to me on his side.
I'd like the photos and the family list is pretty accurate. There are a couple names I'm not sure are siblings but will find out.
If you have any one else requesting photos I'd like them to be able to contact me. If I could upload his photo somehow to my tree.

I have been researching the Wright family in the area of this tombstone. Sarah Susannah Wright is a possibility. She was born in 1847. No further records. A nephew, Harold Earl Wright, born 1894, claims Wind Ridge as his birth place. Sarah's mother might have been Sarah Miller Wright born abt. 1812-1874. Either could be a possibility. Hope this helps.
