RE: Eva (Culp) Mattingly
I am sorry this reply is so long in coming.
As far as I know Eva is not related to this branch of the family. If you have any more questions send them to

How are you?
Ted, haven't seen your name on any correspondence lately. Sure hope you are still able to use the computer, your inputs and insights have always been so appreciated. Best wishes to you. LaDon

James DeLozier
Ted, one of your cousins notified me that a new veteran's marker had been erected at the grave of James, and he has added a photo. Thought you in case you want to see it. Apparently the original had an incorrect rank engraved.
Thinking of you this holiday season, hoping you are able to enjoy all the festivities.

RE: Edit
Will do. It's sad to see that you've transferred away all your memorials, including your parents. But it is good you are taking precautions to see that a responsible person will care for them, and not leave them to Find-a-Grave/aka Ancestry to handle when and how they feel like it. However if you'd like your uncle Neal transferred to you, just say the word.

Clearly, and thankfully, your doctors didn't know your "expiration date". I hope it is a long way out. Good luck with the upcoming procedures. Glad you've seen some improvement and that Pam brought you home.
I sent edits to add maiden name to Nona's memorial as well as links to her parents, and highlighted her name in Neal's memorial. Thanks for info.

RE: Middaugh
Ted, you left me a message some months ago. Have you found the Middaugh you were looking for? Lester Middaugh, memorial # 18025328, was married to my 2nd cousin 1x removed, Bessie O Crane, memorial # 18025270. They lived on a farm Bear Creek, MO, but I don't know any more than that. The names of Lester's brothers were Arthur, Samuel, Otis and Otto.

Which Middaugh lived East of Deepwater on farm that was called Bro? He was good friends of my dad and grandfather to some of my friends..Was one good ole boy...thanks...Ted DeLozier

Hi Ted, there is an Eva in my family history. She never married. She was my grandfather's cousin.
There is a gentleman in Kentucky who has researched the Mattingly lines. His name is William Mattingly
his email is he may be able to help you. Sorry I couldn't have been more help

RE: Wyatts in Missouri
Could be cousins ... or perhaps uncles of my James Morgan Wyatt. His father, Edmund Wyatt, was born in North Carolina and came to Washington County/Russell County from there around 1810, but I've been unable to find out anything about his parents. This is my proverbial "brick wall".

Ted You are welcome. I take the photos and make the memorials so that others can find their familys. Any memorials that are of your family I would be delighted to transfer to you. You can then add the needed info and link them to others. Have fun in your searches. Diane

Wyatts in Missouri
Anything is possible, but I have no information to indicate that any of my Wyatts ever lived in St. Clair County, Missouri. My James Morgan Wyatt was born 1828 in Russell, Virginia, then migrated to Cass, Missouri in the 1850s where he married and had a son. He was Confederate in the Civil War and became a POW. When the war was over and he was released he went back home to find his wife had presumed him dead and had remarried and had another child. Therefore, James Wyatt decided to leave the family alone and after visiting his son left Missouri altogether and ended up in Texas; his Missouri-born son later joined him there by 1880, leaving none of my Wyatts in Missouri to my knowledge.

I have researched each of his siblings as well and none of them lived in Missouri.

Thanks for inquiring! I have my Wyatt DNA registered, so if you also have done this, perhaps we could compare those.

RE: Romdall and Bohrn / Eliza DeLozier
Hi there Mr. DeLozier. I received your message. How thoughtful of you to reply so quickly. Yes sir, I agree with you about "crazies" being out there. See, I am a strong stickler for source documentation, whether or not I am the sender, or receiver of information. I only submit the information and/or links as I find them. I do not tell the memorial managers that "you must ... ", "you need to ...", "you have to", "or else I'm tellin", etc. It's up to the recipient if they want to use any of it. I believe in mutual courtesy and respect. You seem to be a very pleasant person to communicate with, and I appreciate that. Thank you sir, and take care.

Good morning Mr. DeLozier. I received your messages. That was very thoughtful of you. And you are quite welcome sir. It is my pleasure to assist fellow Find A Grave members in making memorials as detailed as possible. I may send you other "Suggestions" from time to time, if you don't mind. And Blessings to you as well, sir!

Ted When I photographed the cemeteries around Chelsea I made memorials for several Deloziers. If you would like these transfered to you I would be delighted to do so as I am not related in any way. Let me know. Diane
