RE: Czeslaw Adamkiewicz
Here is his death certificate:
http://seekingmichigan.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/singleitem/collection/p16317coll1/id/36779/rec/1
After looking at it more, I see that either his place of birth or his birth year on the memorial must be wrong, and on his death certificate either his age or birth year must be wrong; if the birth year is correct, then the birthplace must be wrong. Do you have the 1920 census for the family? I can't find it. Note that the death certificate spells the given name without the "C" at the beginning...I used the cemetery database spelling. Could he have gone by a different name perhaps?

Let me know what you think.

Thank You
Thank you for the work you do. I understand the feeling you get when helping someone with their family history. I have been working on my family lines for about 20 years now.

Thanks Dawn! I see that the rest of that family has been changed to West, too. Thanks for the heads up! I was not aware that there were two same named cemeteries.

Dawn,
Having the date you took the photo at the bottom doesn't bother me. Don't feel you have to retake photo.

Dawn,

The family and I want to thank you for putting in the pictures of my grandparent's grave. I have pictures but I don't have the ability at the moment to put them in. Thank you so much. You are a God send.

Thank you for removing the cemetery signage photo. Now your beautiful headstone photo can shine without that awful distraction of cemetery hours etc. I think the pages we create should be all about the person we are remembering and not an advertisement for the cemetery or a posting of hours and what kind of floral decorations are appropriate. That has zero to do with the person or his life and the cemetery name is already listed on the page.

First, thanks for the photo! And for letting me know so I could check it out. We are to put exactly what is on the stone so I have made the memorial match. With a little research I might find a date. I am entering from the cemetery records and there are many mistakes! A few possibilities come to mind as to why there is no date. Perhaps no one ordered it after her death, or she remarried and her death record is under that name, or she is buried somewhere else and this is a cenotaph. Time will tell.
You did exactly the right thing! Thanks again!

RE: Sec F
Well I'm almost done. I've been at it for a couple of days and figure it will take one more. I've had to pull grass and weeds on every marker. When I photograph, I just take photos of everything and then sort it out. Thanks for taking the trouble to send the map.

Well, if you want me to, I'll do it. I did the outside part from the trees out, before I sent you the message. I still appreciate all the help you have provided us. Send me the map, it will probably help.

Section F
Dawn,

I have to apologize, I was under the impression that you weren't photographing Section F, but I see that Tami Reed has set up all the memorials and you have been placing photographs on them. You are doing a great job and I will let you finish it and stay out of your way from now on.

Thank you so much for the photos, Dawn. Those were the first requests I had ever put in, and didn't really hold out much hope on them being filled quickly! Jeanne Pierre's was needed in order to ascertain if it was indeed John P.'s grave, or if the data on the Find A Grave memorial was mixed up. So you have solved a mystery. Thank you. Do you go there often? Many of my husband's family rest there, but no one lives in the area any longer. If you ever want to go back to take more photos, let me know and I'll put in some requests. I'm headed to a local cemetery in the next few days to take some photos...I can only hope that mine will be half the quality of yours.

RE: Baranski
I do have a request in for Zofia Baranski. It is under Sophie Baranski. I didn't know if the English or Polish spelling was on the stone when I made the request. That's why the discrepancy.
