RE: Thank you
I've transferred her memorial to your care. You can manage it by adding more information, linking her to parents, etc. The only thing you can't do is delete the memorial - only the original manager can do that, if it's necessary.

To answer your question of how I came to photograph her memorial, I was trying to find my ggrandfather's gravestone in this cemetery and didn't know the location. I had just heard about Find-A-Grave and so I started photographing Saranac cemetery, in hopes of finding my ggrandfather and maybe other relatives. Another person had made memorials for many of those at Saranac about a year before, so I added my photos to the memorials he had made and then made an original memorial for those whom he hadn't. Your sister was one of those. It took me over a year of going back and forth to the cemetery to do this, and I've since done many more. It's part of my genealogical work and a great hobby.

I hope you find it comforting to be able to visit your sister this way. If there are other relatives of yours at Saranac cemetery, I'm happy to transfer them to you, as I'm sure others would also be.

Welcome to Find A Grave.

Oh Angela, I'm so glad to know that finding this memorial made you feel a bit more in touch with your sister today. I would be happy to transfer the memorial to your care so that you can manage it and add other information, if you'd like. I just need to know your sister's name.
