RE: Benjamin Franklin White
Because Benjamin is the spouse of my 2nd great-grandaunt, I don't have much info on his parents. But I did locate a TX Death Cert. for Nancy Caroline with the last name of Bray and her death in Snyder, Scurry, TX on 16 Oct 1921 with burial in Snyder Cemetery. There wasn't a memorial in this cemetery for her, so I have added it, #177605193.

Her last name was also apparently either Chamblee or Chamlee.

Hope this helps.

William Murry
Hi, Not sure if you knew, but according to William Murry's death cert he is buried in Cotton Wood Cem. The closest Cotton wood cem that I know of is in Falls Co. That isn't too far from Coryell though.

RE: Covington
Oh, thank you so much for that information concerning the writing on his marker. He is my great uncle and although I never knew him of course, I love learning about my ancestors. I so appreciate your efforts in getting the pictures. I hope to get to the cemetery at some point-your picture will make his stone easy to locate. I have never known much about my Covington ancestors so this is like reading a good book! Can't wait to open another chapter!

Tom Atkinson
RE: Eulalie Atkinson
I have several descendants of Jesse Brown Atkinson and his wife Margaret Patton Atkinson that are in Texas around the time you show, 1875, but none that have a child with the name you show.

Wish I could help more.

John Preston "Jack" Little
Thank you for taking time to look for the grave of John Preston Little. He was my paternal great grandfather. I'm sorry that I couldn't provide a plot number to make your search a bit easier since this is a fairly large cemetery. I also appreciate you leaving my photo request open in case another contributor might come across this grave.

RE: Richard Pieper (photo request)
Thanks again for your 'above and beyond' efforts. If you do end up finding an obit at the library, I would love an image of it. I tried the 3 newspaper services I subscribe to but had no luck.
It sounds like it will turn up to be an unmarked grave; perhaps the one you seem to have found. Lonnie

Hi Laurel;
I got your message, and thank you so much for accepting the photo request. Yes, I have the DC showing his burial in Coryell Baptist Cemetery. Let me know if the outcome, please, and if it is unmarked.
Your volunteer work on Findagrave is admirable - thank you. Lonnie in Austin

Thank you so much and I look forward to the next picture you take of Mr. Rodgers' gravestone. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi Laurel,

Thank you for your work in cemeteries; however, I have a problem. You placed a picture on the above memorial (47832268) and I would appreciate it if you would remove it. I'm sorry, but the picture is very bad because the weeds, etc, weren't removed from the gravestone which makes the date of birth impossible to read and the date of death is not very clear.

Thank you,

RE: Thompson/Brogdin Family
The picture of the headstone has been also posted for John W. Thompson. I am glad you created a memorial for him. I was hoping you would. Thanks to the plot location information on your photo request, their headstone was no problem to find. I went straight to it. This is my first time in fulfilling a photo request. It was my pleasure to do it for you.

William Shirley @Old Cottonwood
Thank you for the information on Mr. Shirley. Per your request I linked him to his mother Elizabeth Williams Shirley and also his father, James Madison Shirley, however I was unable to find his grandmother Margaret in the graves I tend. I appreciate your help, and if you are related to the Shirley family I would be happy to transfer their graves to you as I'm not related to anyone in the Cottonwood Cemeteries. Please let me know if that is something you would like me to do.

I was wondering if your are related to M.R. Barnes anyway, if so I can transfer her to you and you can deal with anyone else adding any future information, since I don't really know her. You have a lot of information for Nannie. Let me Know, since I will be glad to transfer.

Tombstone Photos
I was just in Liberty Hill, TX last two weeks, didn't do much in the way of looking at cemeteries. I live in CA, my youngest daughter and her girls live in TX. I wanted to go to the Alamo and River Walk, but got too busy helping my daughter study for her test for TX license to work in Doctors office.
I flew to NC, FT Bragg and spent two weeks there with my daughter her daughters and grandchildren, and great-grands. We drove back to TX from NC, we stopped in several cemeteries in NC, TN, AR,LA to take photos of my direct family tombstones. We took almost a week traveling to TX. My ex husbands family is from TX, Modgling, Bolt, Johnson, Mason, Llano area. So if you are ever run across these names, I'm interesting in tombstone photos.

Thanks for your help,
Your Sister in Christ

Thank you so much for looking for me. I have attached a copy of his obituary to his memorial, it states that he is buried in that cemetery. Me must have been buried without a tombstone. Once again thank you for taking the time to look for me.

RE: Amanda Light
Her obit was found in the Grace Armantrout Museum (George West, Texas) and it confirms some of the details you provided. She is indeed a Parker. It shows the date of death is June 28 where a "Death Record" shows her death to be June 1, 1977.

I will post your information to her memorial with the other information I have found as well.
