RE: Rowley Headstones Wood Cemetery
Brent, how nice to hear from you. I do not live in the state where they are buried, but you can make a photo request through Find-a-Grave and someone usually responds in a little while. Regards!

RE: Doris Mae Abbie Conne
If I understand your question correctly the answer would be that while I was spending time on Whidbey Island as part of my hobbies I took numerous photos of the headstones in Maple leaf cemetery and as a result I created this memorial along with some others. It was a hobby I took up after retiring from the Navy. In researching my own family I to often found the headstones were no longer readable or was unable to find their final resting place.I found Find A Grave and felt it was and is wonderful way of helping others like me.
As you are a family member of Doris I am going to transfer her memorial to your care. Under your care you can add what information you have and hopefully someone in the future will contact you about her.

RE: Photo Emelia Meyer Headstone
Hi Brent,
You are most welcome. None of the immediately surrounding markers were for Meyer. I do see that FL-Glendale has over 600 Meyers in it. It's a huge cemetery. You may want to download the Forest Lawn app (FL Visitors Guide). You can search for names there, such as putting in Meyer and a first initial (A, B, C, etc.). The display in the app is actually better than on the website, as you will see the birth and death dates and the marker location for most of those listed. So you could look for others in the Wee Kirk Churchyard area that way. If you come up with other Meyers of interest that don't have photographs, let me know -- I may be there again in a couple of days. I checked the app for the "A" Meyers and found one who is also in the same section (Wee Kirk Churchyard) and not that far away. It's memorial 8086111, and already has a photograph. One thing about FL - some sections can't be photographed. Certain sections are private or don't permit photography (mostly, anything in the Garden of Hope or the Freedom or Great Maus). Hope this helps - Sandra

William P. Spear at Stones River Natl Cemetery
Thank you for the headstone photos! However, the photo attached to William P. Spear is actually for William Spencer. I don't suppose you have a photo for William P. Spear's headstone? If he has one. According to one of his descendants, his NARA records indicate that he died at the Post Hospital, Columbia, Maury County, Tennessee and was laterreburied at Stones River National Cemetery.

You placed Seniors photo on Jr's memorial. Please remove...his is most likely on the backside of the stone.

William Smith 38th Indiana
Hello. Asking if you would remove the photo you posted of William Smith, 75th Ohio Infantry from the memorial for William Smith, 38th Indiana Infantry, in Stones River National Cemetery. I had previously posted the correct pic with this memorial when I first created it. Thanks!

Thomas Houston Baskin
You placed the wrong Thomas Houston Baskin photo on the wrong memorial. Please move it to the correct TH Baskin which is linked on Jr's memorial. Is Jr by chance on the back of the same marker?

Adam Aikins
Thank you for looking into this. You may not be finding Adam Aikins however, the correct spelling of his name is Adam Akins. Perhaps it is listed under his correct name.

Michelle Kidd-Johnson
Stones River National Cemetery
Hello Brent,

I saw you claimed a bunch of photo requests and I am trying to find out if my gr. gr. gr. grandfather might be buried there. He died in the Civil War and possibly in The Battle of Stones River (Murfreesboro) Dec 1862. If you have time could you check the office and see if they have any record of a James L Kidd? I live in California and I would truly appreciate your help. I have not added James to this cemetery as I am not sure where he is buried. Thank you so much! :)

Thanks again for taking the time to get these photos. I'm sorry you duplicated another graver's photos on a couple of those. Why he didn't claim them before taking the shots is unknown to me. I would never ask anyone to get a photo of a grave that's already present on the memorial.
Best regards,
Dave T.

You said: "I found a Marker For Major William McKnight. I have a picture of the marker and if there is a possibility your William was also a Major, this may well be the Marker. Please send me a reply if you believe this is your William and I will post the photo."

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you... yes, he was a major; please post the photo. Thanks!
