No problem, you are welcome. It is my home church. So many of the tombstones in the old cemetery are gone or in very disrepair

Photo request for Ruth Beatty in Washington Cemetery
I am sorry to advise you that there is no marker in Lot 23 of Section Q of the Washington Cemetery for Ruth Beatty. However, I will use a photo that shows the empty space around the Bigler marker in Lot 23 to fulfill your photo request. There will be a descriptive caption with the photo (need to click on the photo to see the caption). If you are not satisfied with the photo, please let me know and I will remove it.

Yablonski Family!
Thank you for taking a photo of The Yablonski family graves for me! I am sorry it took me so long to say thanks!
I assume they never put up separate memorials for Margaret and Charlotte!

Thanks so much for researching and finding the date on the headstone was incorrect. I found his obituary for 1864 and transcribed it to his memorial. Thanks for your help!!! Chris

Thanks so much for the Daniel Vanata memorial photos. I've reordered the photos to show them better on the memorial page. Thanks for helping me to properly honor this Civil War Veteran.

LOL - I certainly don't think you are a trouble maker (though there are some on find a grave, for sure)!

Above all, I just want my entries to be correct. The duplicate memorial you sent to me earlier was a mistake/oversight. Thanks for pointing it out.

As for Thebie, another mistake that I am glad you caught. I mistook her death location (Durbin) with her cemetery. I put her in that cemetery when I was using the Fordyce info online - which is not formatted very well, so its easy to get lost in the data columns. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I found and downloaded his little software that makes the info much easier to read.

Again, thanks! And never hesitate to let me know when you see an error with any of my memorials.

Thanks for the heads up on the above. I don't know where I got the other death date or name so it must have been one of my senior moments! I think I went on Ancestry to get the first name and I see that other people have it as William and his parents listed are his grandparents. I am so glad Virginia finally has their death certificates on line but sometimes the information on them are incorrect too. Are you related?

Thank you for your effort to take a photo of Thomas Riggle's headstone. If you are confident that it does say Riggle I would very much like for you to post it. I think it would at least give anyone an idea of a location.

Charity A Steele McKerrihan
Hi! I'm just letting you know that I got your message this morning. I would love to tell you that the cemetery records have information on siblings and parents, but they unfortunately don't. I do have photos of the records pages on my computer that are easily sendable, but my email won't load correctly on my computer (I got your email on my phone). I'm still going to send you the pages from the cemetery book as soon as I work out my email. I did a quick search through the indexes on the Greene County Genealogical Society indexes by James Fordyce, and I noticed that Charity does have an obituary that can be sent for or found at the genealogical society. The index would be found by going to, clicking on links, clicking on Greene County Records by James Fordyce, and clicking on Greene County Obituary Index, 1822-1958, 1980-1981. There are several McKerrihans listed. It might be worth a look! I hope this helped!
