Allen, why do these Whitworth's try to really make it hard on us to find them and figure out their lives?????

Thank you, Allen, for searching for grave marker for Willis Rhodus. Perhaps he was not buried there but rests in another Grubville Cemetery. Please keep his name in mind in case you run across the grave elsewhere. I appreciate your efforts and note!

Allen, thanks for getting her headstone picture. Did you find others in the Grubville cemetery?

She has no marker. This is a single grave area with very few markers. I also looked at her lot card.

Hi Allen,

Thank you for the kind words! I believe family members belong with family.....regardless if they are aunts or uncles, unless the aunt or uncle is a parent of someone who is a find a grave member. Lots of good luck researching your family ... it's so wonderful to find our past, I love genealogy!!

Best,
Karen Bennett

Hi Allen,

Thank you for taking the time to send such valuable information for his memorial. Future generations will thank you too! I noticed you have the same last name ..... if he is your family then you should have him under your management if you wish.......I'm happy to transfer him to you...Just let me know...

Best,
Karen Bennett

Allen - are you sure about the 27th for her birthday even though the headstone says the 2nd? I usually don't deviate from the headstone, even though I know that there are some I have run across which are wrong. I will usually put a note in the bio explaining the difference.

Allen,

No, I'm not related. I added Mr. Whitworth as I was adding the latest memorials at Jefferson Barracks.

RE: Lona's daughter
Do you know about the Whitworth Family Association and WhitworthFamily.org?

I saw it on the page of G. William Whitworth, Jr.

I was following the Whitworth generations back and they have a long history in Franklin County.

Lona's daughter
When I used zabasearch, I find her at

18021 Pierce Plz, Omaha, NE 68130, (402) 933-0115.

That's my mom in the photo with Lona. Lona is on the right.

RE: Forrest Whitworth
I sure don't. I never met her. Have you ever used the site Zabasearch.com.

That gives phone numbers and addresses but its not always up to date. I have found some people that way.

I will work on it in the morning.

I can tell you that Lona was a very sweet and kind person and an inspirational person to many people. Her friendship to my mother meant the world to her and really supported her during some tough times.

Hi Allen

I received you suggestion for Forrest's middle name. I will be glad to transfer his and his wife's memorials to you.

Lona was a good friend to my mother and that's why I set up her page but when I went out there, I saw Forrest so I made pages for him too.

Would you like me to transfer them all to you?

RE: Atholl A. Whitworth (Ott)
Hi Allen,

I finally got a chance to go to the genealogy library and look up Atholl's obituary on microfilm. This is an exact copy:

----------

WHITWORTH, ATHOLL A., Fri., June 9, 1995, dearest brother of Delmer E., Russell L., James T., Harry A., Richard S., William J., Sidney G. and Howard D. Whitworth and the late Janet Marie Whitworth, dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Service Mon., June 12, 12 noon at the NEW COLLIERS FUNERAL HOME, 3400 No. Lindbergh Blvd. Interment Fee Fee Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Visitation 3 - 9 p.m. Sunday.

(11 Jun 1995; St. Louis Post-Dispatch)

----------

Hope this helps!

No idea. Try John Schuck-click on his name below the cemetery picture. He is local and active in F.A.G and Benton County genealogy.
Good luck, Bob
