|Tracy Kyle||Combs cemetery|
I was working with John Melton adding these stones. He has since passed away. So I am unsure where he found this info. What would you like done with the memorials?

|One Foot In The Grave||Judge Andrew Hunt|
You didn't say which Judge you meant but I'm guessing Judge Andrew M. Hunt ? He was the brother of my great-great-grandfather Joseph C. Hunt. He was also the brother of my great-great-great-grandfather Joseph C. Hunt. Confused ? My parents were 2nd cousins once removed - both of them descended from my ancestor Joseph C. Hunt. Makes for a little confusion when discussing my family tree !
I have some information on Andrew and the two brothers, more on Joseph Hunt than Andrew, but I could probably put something together. It might be awhile though because in addition to my own ongoing research, administrative work on Find-A-Grave has been really keeping me busy.
You may have known or heard of John Melton ? A year or so before he died he put together a group of local genealogy researchers and suggested we pool our memorials - the reason being to avoid what happens when one of us dies and leaves all our memorials "locked". To make a long story short, we got that done before he passed away and we have almost 25,000 memorials owned by the group "One Foot In The Grave". I volunteered to step into John's shoes to do the administrative work - answering emails, making corrections, adding information, etc.. That does tend to fill up my day, especially lately.
Can you give me an email address so I can remember who to send anything I put together on Judge Hunt to ?
Also, I rarely use my own account on Find A Grave these days. I do all my work within the OFITG account, and my age and bad knees means I don't walk cemeteries and create lots of memorials anymore. I transferred all of my own memorials to the group account.

|One Foot In The Grave||RE: Noah Alden|
You're probably referring to Noah Alden Sr. 1766-1864 ? John Melton put that information on the memorial and he's deceased so I can't ask him. I suspect a history of Peoria County but just guessing.

|Annette Hanks||William Bedford Hanks|
Hi, I saw your comment asking someone for a photo of William Bedford Hanks house on Hanks street. I was wondering if you received that photo. If you did, can I please get it from you. Thank you.

|Jan Gardner||William Bedford Hanks|
I am a member of Daughters of the Revolution and am working on a supplemental application for my patriot William Hanks married to Sarah (Rolf?) Benson.
My lineage follows their daughter Rachel (Rebecca) Hanks who married Ephraim Akers in Laudon Co. VA. I have no idea how/when or why the Hanks family moved from Anne Arundel, MD to VA, but I have Ephraim born 22 Mar 1761 in Laudon Co. VA. From Ephraim Akers & Rachel Hanks, my line goes to Zillah Akers, b 1795 in Bedford Co. PA who married George M Hess. I have proof documents for all generations except the one between William and daughter Rachel; and from Rachel to Zillah. HELP? If anyone out there has something concrete to help me, I would be forever indebted. Thank you, Jan
