|Kaye LK||RE: John Fredrickson/OakCreek|
Thank you for the pic of the Fredrickson marker at this point.
I'll think about if I need more info on John and his wife, Mary. I do know that Mary's name was referred to Mary Stafsang in her husband John's obituary, but at this point I don't know her birth or death date, except that her death date was AFTER her husband, John. (So after 8/22/61.)
If that helps you at all, then go for it. If not, then I understand. If I find out anything more, I'll let you know.
I'm going to submit John's obituary for the FindAGrave website, as well.
Thanks again, Malcolm.

Rosina Turner (née Anderson) was the wife of Cecil Turner. Cecil and Olive were children of John G Turner and his wife, Emily E (née Hawker). Hope this helps.

Thank you for adding the photo of my ggrandfather's grave stone. He actually passed away in Montana, and must have been taken back to ND for burial, so that might account for the dates not being absolutely correct, as well as the spelling of his first name! I really appreciate your time spent in fulfilling this request!

|Kristee McBrayne Morris||RE: Daniel McBrayne|
Yes I did. The miss spelling of our name was and is very common. That is one of the reasons I have such a hard time with my research. I personally have had that problem also in my own life. My Great Uncle I found completely changed the spelling of the name himself. I believe some just figured it was easier that way. I know that I had learned to spell it as soon as I said it. First way they think of spelling it is McBrain. Daniels name misspelled on the headstone is not the only one I have found spelled that way also. But it is defenatly him due to the family stories of him moving to that town and passing away. Again thank you. I believe he moved to that area from Canada due to his wife's family ties. I also know My Grandfater had ties to that area also for a short time for some reason but unsure I think he owned or managed a hotel maybe or the railroad.

Want to thank you for your photo of Daniel McBrayne's headstone. He was my Great Grand Uncle brother to my Grandfather. Never have been able to find out much about him. He also had a daughter Lizzie born in North Dakota May 1889 in the same area. He was born in Canada and I believe his wife may have returned to Canada after his death. So happy to find this link. Thank you again.

Good morning Malcolm,
I am in the process of merging two profiles that I manage...Herb Schwede created the first...and, I mistakenly created the second. Since you provided me with the gravestone photograph, I wanted to give you the opportunity to add it to the early memorial before I delete the later one. Could you add the photograph to #23493292? That way, you will have credit for having done so.

Thank you Malcolm for addressing the requested photos... I believe this is Susan Sherwin's father and her brother. One of their relatives is working with me to see if we can match Susan with this family, right now we seem to have a common name also thought to be her maiden, but we are also finding so many different spellings... patiently just trying to take one little step at a time until the right papers are found.
Thank you kindly for your help and sharing your time with us. DebraLee

Thank you Malcolm... I just found out about Louis and this location yesterday, I have been searching for Susan for a number of years now. I was only told this morning, over the phone, that my great-grandfather purchased this plot for his brother's family. Bless you, have a wonderful week, you sure made my day!
