Disosway
Thanks for your work on the Disosway family. I'm fiddling with genealogy, and it's been helpful.

Donald Justice Disosway was my grandfather - non-biological, as my mom was adopted.

CB
Bates family

I came across Francis and Elizabeth Bissel Bates on your Find A Grave. I'm almost certain they are my 8th G-grandparents. All of their children were born in Rhode Island...why the move to Vermont? Lydia Bates, a child of Francis/Eliz you don't have listed, is my link and vanished from my RI search at the State Archives....until possibly now....I'm thinking maybe she and her husband Joseph Coggeshall moved to VT. I just don't understand why they would do that. They have at least one child born in RI- Anna H Coggeshall.

Can you provide some insight to the VT move and any add'l info you have of Francis and Elizabeth?

Gail
RE: Blake photo in Edson Cemetery
The Benjamin Blake monument that I photographed is in Edson Cemetery, Lot 10501. According to cemetery records, William Stanley is buried in Grave 3 and Mary Stanley in Grave 4. Ella L. Blake is listed as buried in Grave 2. Others listed as buried there are Benjamin M. Blake and three infants. However, only the name Benjamin M. Blake is on the monument.

Westlawn Cemetery (which you have on memorials 155093852 and 155093918 as the burial locations of Benjamin and Ella) is a separate cemetery across the street from Edson.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Gail

RE: Florence's footstone
That makes sense as I couldn't understand the "misspelling of Lorenzo". I'll check on the rest of the footstones on my next visit to Fairview when I go after the Decatur's for you. Any suggestions on the Decatur's lot number?

RE: Roscoe G. Heard and Frank Shattuck
Could you send me directly a copy of the Ayer newspaper article? I'll take it to the Cemetery Office and have them double check their records. They have been very interested in helping me with all my Find-a-Grave requests and pin-pointing exactly where graves are located. ronald.m.adams@comcast.net

Denny Jordan
Mildred & Frank Hager
Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. I looked online for records of the Hagers at Holy Cross and could not find them. There are several Hagers buried there, but none with dates that are even close to Mildred and Frank.

If you are certain they are buried there I will go to the cemetery office and check.

RE: Gertrude Hollis
Michael... Gertrude's stone is in the "Abigail Adams" section (off of Norton St). If I recall correctly, she is in the second row, about a third to half way down, just about in the center of the section.

All done. Sorry about that I usually am more thorough and would have done it; George was my last photo of a long day of uploading and I hurried off to go do something else! I'm glad I was able to help you. I love the Lee cemetery and go there several times a year so if there is anything else you need there, let me know.
