I found her memorial, but didn't find a record for her family in my files? What other surnames are you seeking?

I have searched for Wiggins, but can't find this name in post. Are you sure I was the submitter?

RE: Charley and Londie Browning
Pat, Shirley didn't have the e-mail with her. Her friends were Frances and Jim Harmon and they live in Charleston. I think she said Frances was L.H.'s granddaughter. She belongs to L.H. anyway.
I hope this helps.

RE: Charley and Londie Browning
Pat, it has been close to seventy years since I saw Mr. and Mrs. Browning. If I remember right, I believe Fred was more like his Daddy. I know L.H,, Wesley or Art didn't look like him..maybe Arthur. With Mrs. Browning I believe Aunt Maud looked more like her Mama than Aunt Minnie did.
Mr. Browning wasn't tall or short. I guess about medium.
When Portia and I were in Charleston in March my cousin gave Portia some e-mail address of a friend who was a Browning. When Portia comes over tomorrow she can send them to you.
That is everything I know.

I hope you can find what you want....Bea.

Hi Pat. The 7th, 8th, 10th or 11th would be fine. We go to church in Greenville on Sundays and after 2:00 PM getting home. Feb 12th we go to Memphis.

I'll get Jimmy Ward Newton's phone number and send you. He's Aunt Minnie Browning Newton's son. He and Louise lives in Charleston.

Doris Browning was living with Lucille and Johnny. They all died in Yazoo City.

Let me what day you can come and I'll send my address.
Take care...Bea.

RE: James Wesley Browning
Pat, I'd be happy for you to visit me, but I don't live in Tallahatchie County. I live in Cleveland, Bolivar County, Ms.It's about a forty-five minute drive from Greenville.
Jimmy Ward Newton, Aunt Minnie and Uncle Ward's son lives in Charleston, Tallahatchie Co. Aunt Minnie might have had some pictures of some of the family.

I wasn't married to James Wesley, but to his son Harris Byron (Buddy).
Take care...Bea.

RE: James Wesley Browning
Pat, I have known the Brownings all my life. At one time I was married to James Wesley's son, Harris Byron "Buddy" Browning. Wesley was one of the sweetest men I have ever known. I still call him Papa Wesley.
I don't have any pictures of any of them except Wesley's sisters Minnie and Maud who married my uncles Ward and Norman Newton.
Have you seen their memorials I put on Find A Grave? I even have Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Browning on there.
I don't know of any of Wesley's grandchildren that would have any pictures unless they were from Thelma's daughter Catherine. She moved to Texas and I don't know who she married.
How are you connected to the family?

Sincerely...Bea.

RE: charley and Lundie BrowningM
Hi Pat.
I looked at the pictures you placed on Mr. and Mrs. Browning's memorials. I don't know them. It's been fifty-five or sixty years since I've seen them.

Did you get in touch with Aunt Maud's Linda? If not, I'll ask my daughter if she has Linda's address.
Have a good week...Bea.

RE: Thank you
I don't think so. Linda is the only child left of Aunt Maud. She'd probably be glad to hear from you.

Pat, I don't have any pictures of any of the Brownings except Aunt Minnie and Aunt Maud Newton.

Aunt Maud's daughter Linda Newton Thrasher and her husband Charlie live in Amarillo, Texas. I don't know their address or phone number.

Aunt Minnie's son Jimmy Ward Newton lives in Charleston, Miss.
That's all I know.We didn't take pictures in the '20s and '30s when we lived close to Mr & Mrs Browning. After I grew up I'd only see them occasionally at Aunt Maud's.

Have a good week...Bea.

RE: Charlie and Londie Browning
Hi Pat.
Welcome to Find A Grave.
I've known Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Browning all my life. Two of their daughters, Minnie and Maud, married my uncles. I played with their youngest daughter Doris.
I didn't know Mary Ruth. She never lived around her parents. I knew all the other children.
About Mrs. Browning's name Londie, it has been spelled a couple different ways. On her Memorial I spelled it the way Aunt Minnie did. I do know her maiden name was Wiggins, not the name you mentioned.
If you'd put Mary Ruth's memorial on Find A Grave you can link her with her parents.
I don't know where Fred, L.H., Lucille and Doris are buried and can't add them. Do you?

Glad to meet you...Bea.
