RE: Maggie Allen Smith
I do have them in Passworth Cemetery and linked, EXCEPT for Maggie, she is not listed as buried there. Do you know for certain that she is buried there and her dates. If so, please add her there and let me know so that I may link her daughter, Marian (Find A Grave Memorial# 102160324, to her. I no longer post on Find A Grave, but will make this link if you will post Maggie.

RE: Allen's
I don't remember offhand. It's directly across the road from the cemetery and a small church. The next time I am in the area, I'll jot it down. It's been awhile since I was over in that area.

RE: Walker/chavous cemetery
The newspaper only states Walker cemetery, but there are 3 Walker cemeteries in Richmond County. I might have the wrong cemetery. Let me know if I goofed and also let me know if you want ownership.

Done, thanks Angela. Do you know where Marian's parents, Maggie ALLEN and Henry Smith are?

Yes mam, your welcome. I don't recall the person's name who assisted us but she was older and had been at the church awhile. Anyway, my wife & I could tell she enjoyed sharing and really was helpful. Again, I'm glad that little bit of information assisted you.

Re: Emily Allen
OK good... I see where someone has already created a site and added a photo for her. Outstanding.

RE: George Carter
I have an India Carter, born abt 1867 in Bryan County, GA and died after 1920 in Chatham County. She was married to an unknown Carter before her marriage to Phillip Horning on 3 Jun 1900 (Chatham County, GA - Marriage Records, Book N, page 307). It shows Indiana "India" was "Mrs" Carter, so this is probably who you are looking for. Her parents were William Carter and wife Margaret (burials unknown). Her siblings I have so far were James Henry, Mary E., Rosella, & Georgeann, all of Bryan County, GA.

Her census records I have are:

1880 Bryan County, GA, age 14; 1900 Chatham County, GA, age 33; 1910 Chatham County, GA, age 47, her 2nd marriage & shows 1 child, Alice (age 9) born and living; 1920 Chatham County, GA, age 59

R Widener

What is the first name of R Widener? Could it be Ruby? I found a grave for Ruby L Murphey "Our Ruby Doo", born Oct. 10, 1937 and died Aug. 24, 2000. I found that James David Widener, SR. and Jennie Caughnan Widener had a daughter named Mrs. W L Murphy. If this is the correct R. Widener I will post the photo. I will post the photos of David & Jennie soon.

Smith photos
Sorry pressed enter too soon!

I am not sure if these additional people are deceased. I see many stones that only list the death date, but the only date on the stones are 1934 and 1936 respectively so before adding to Find a Grave I'll searce to see if they are living.
