Ida Belle (Smith) Howeth
Hi,

Yes, I am related through Ida's brother John Thomas Smith, my grandfather. I did not know any of my grandparents, so rely on stories from others and the sharing of old pictures that help take up the gap of missed memories.

Thanks for contacting me.

HI Emily
Olivia Cooley's bio dad, Mark Edward Morgan, (google him) is a several-time convicted child sex offender. He's served time in prison and jail, here and internationally, and well-known leader in NAMBLA, the North American Man-boy Love Association. You may not want to be associating with him? Hopefully not. Your sympathy for her death would be wasted on him. He does not deserve it.

Photos of all know stones, as well as lists of lost stones, moved stones, location maps, etc can be found on the church's website Fishkillreformed.org. These photos will be better than any taken now, as they were taken 15-16 years ago, and, in some cases, were chalked, to facilitate reading the inscriptions. We no longer allow this. For further information, please contact me.

Photo request for John Roach in Washington Cemetery
I am sorry to advise you that there is no marker in Lot 100 of Section B of the Washington Cemetery for John Roach. However, I will use a photo that shows the empty space in Lot 100 to fulfill your photo request. There will be a descriptive caption with the photo (need to click on the photo to see the caption). If you are not satisfied with the photo, please let me know and I will remove it.

Susannah Young
Hi Emily, You have a photo request for Susannah Young in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. I went searching for Susannah in the Salt Lake City Cemetery last year, and she is not buried there according to the office records. I know that some records show she is buried there, she is not. I was told she is buried in the Orangeville City Cemetery as Susannah Young Oliphant. There is a memorial already for her there created in 1912, and I do have a photo request for her there. I have contacted SMS that has the memorial for her in Salt Lake and so far no reply.

Dear Emily: At least we both have direct ties to Ebenezer Brown, Ann Weaver, Joseph Gurnsey Brown.
I do believe you are a lot younger than I am. Thanks for all you do on Find a grave and for all the lovely flowers left on our direct decendents.

Brown and Weaver line
Hi Emily: It looks like we pretty much have the same line. I tie to Ebenezer Brown and Ann Weaver, then to Joseph Gurnsey Brown and Esther Brown Brown, and down to Celestia Ann Brown Smith.
What is your direct line. Thanks for all the beautiful flowers.

Nope No marriage there. He walked away from any responsibility for my grandmother. She was essentially fatherless except for her grandfather Alexander E. McClure Bolton for the first 8 years of her life. At which time she was deemed old enough by her mother to be helpful in raising her Legitimate half siblings and was taken from her grandfathers home and moved into her mother and stepfathers home.

Dear Emily
Today I was able to take the photograph of Ota's headstone. Next to them was Guy so I also took their headstone picture. Thought I would let you know. If there is no memorial for them I will create one you can see.
Take Care

When I went to the cemetery to photograph Mary's stone, I found it along with 9 other small stones around a big stone with Howell on it. I'll try to get them all added tonight. Tom.

RE: Hemsleys
Hi Emily,

Thanks for messaging me back.

My friend would like to view your Ancestry tree. Can you share your Ancestry link, or username?

Also, my friend found her connection to the Hemsleys through AncestryDNA.

Out of curiosity, have you done any DNA testing to find distant relatives?

Thanks,
Jessica

Hemsleys
Hi Emily,

I am helping a friend, who is not on Find A Grave, do some family genealogy. She is distantly connected to the Hemsley/Brown line.

I noticed you maintain quite a good bit of memorials, with some great photos, to boot.

I was wondering if you are related to the Hemsley's, and if you had a family tree my friend can take a look at.

Thanks,
Jessica

Rachel Badgley at First Presbyterian
I have to apologize for causing your request for a photo of Rachel Badgley's grave to appear to have been fulfilled. I had posted a photo of the grave of Rachel Badgley, the wife of Cornelius Badgley, before I noticed it was the wrong Rachel.

There is no marker for your Rachel Badgley, nor is there a grave number for her since her tombstone must have been already missing in 1892 when the inscriptions of all stones existing at the time were published in a book.

RE: relative
My brother passed away in February of this year. I have not seen Bonnie in forever. Saw the picture of her with Aunt Betty. Aunt Betty taught me how to sew. I have a lot of pictures as well. My mom has Uncle Dutch's letters from the war. I also have a picture of William and Eliza Simmons as well as John Grumbling. I also so have obituaries from the local Johnstown paper. Are you or Bonnie on Facebook? You can always email me at prschmadel@comcast.net.
