Thank You so very much Christopher Fleming for taking the time to visit Unity Cemetery and taking these memorials. I was born in Fort Mill and Floyd and I were Lifetime friends. I don't think I would be able to personally visit due to medical problems and living in Florida. Thank You once again, I truly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Russ Griffin

No I am no kin to this family just running some genealogy and getting records for burials in Greenwood Cemetery at Porter. I saw a need and one day hope to do a book on all the burials at Greenwood with a little history on all the people buried there be it an obit or just some general genealogy and sell them to purchase Flag poles to place at all our veterans resting places. I also work for the town of Porter and saw a need for no records was kept on the burials just who bought the lots, and have been getting the burials locations and records of burials in the computer for the city office. Have worked for about 3 years now documenting and hunting history on this cemetery and putting the people in my files and connecting them on Find A Grave Very proud when someone notices what I have done and is thankful I attached him to Addie even sometimes the littlest of help makes another connection Thanks

A looooong time ago you helped try and locate a tombstone for McAteers (per her obituary - 85562681) with no luck. I've found that one son that died before them is there (70548559). I wonder if they are unmarked in that area?

Thanks again for your help.

RE: Fleming family
Not related as far as I know ,I do remember burring Jarrett's wife as a teenager I worked for the caretaker. No one attended the burial so we were enlisted to be pall bearers several disturbing things happened that will always stick in my mind . Iv always wondered where He got the name Jarrett ,in our case was, my father was named after a man named Jarrott Harris in Bisbee Az. Jarrott

Clover Holt's marker made me grin...such a unique name that I'd bet belonged to a lovely lady. I think FindAGrave has places for blogs, but I just get a bug to say something every now and then on my bio page...sometimes HAVE to, like when ancestry.com bought FindAGrave, making people wonder about several things. Happy that you actually found something interesting on there...and you're very welcomed for pictures, Christopher!

It took me long enough, didn't it. It was close to where I though it was going to be. Many unmarked graves. I would be interested in info on Daniel Webb Carter.
