Photo requests for Ray and C. Smith
If you would write to me with an email I can contact you at I went to the cemetery to fulfill your request and found them along with 9 other Smith's in the same plot if you would like the information. Raymond and Caecella Smith's stone have different birth years than you have on memorials, also. You can contact me at mndy0770@att.net. thanks

Mary An Clapp Fields
Hi,

Mary is my GGGrandmother, I see you have a middle name for her and I'm wondering where you got that, as I don't have. It appears you know more than I. I would appreciate hear from you. Do you know of her parents. I've been looking for some time and I'm down to 2 choices from the baptizmal record from the New Market Presbyterian church:
1 David and Elizabeth Clapp baptized a Mary before Oct of 1839
2 George and Barbara Clapp baptized a Mary Jane before Oct of 1839.

If her middle name wasn't Jane, then it's probably number 1.

Just change the link for the mother on the three children, 145562534, 23741058, and 102301182, to 119033713, then send me a message so I can check that everything is done then you can delete the duplicate.

Theresa Pfaffel Mack
I see that you created a duplicate memorial for her a few weeks ago at:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Mack&GSfn=Ther&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=51&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=145561206&df=all&

Here is the one for her that I created 1-1/2 years ago:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Mack&GSfn=Ther&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=51&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=119033713&df=all&

If you fix the spelling of her maiden name, add links to her parents, and upload the gravestone photo, I can delete the old one that I created. Can I ask how you may be related to her? Theresa is the sister to my wife's 3x great-grandfather, John Paffel. (134005966) (note: the first 'f' was dropped about 1880)

Adeline Bauer Kronenfeld #122061170
Thank you so much for the added information for Adeline L. Bauer Kronenfeld. I added the information to her memorial. I added the memorial just from the tombstone information, which let me to believe her last name was Bauer. Thank you again for adding more information about Adeline. Thanks, Cindy Gengler

RE: Michael Monroe son of William
Well, I'll certainly dig into my paper files when I return home to AZ. It's hard to say from a distance what she based her information on.

I have no problems with your posting an edited version of what I sent. You have raised some valid points. The information I have on Arthur Monroe is very incomplete, but I never paid too much attention to him since I am descended from William and Margaret's son William.

I know there is a Clan Munro association that has done a great deal of research so I'll investigate what they have also.

I know how frustrating it is to have folks swear by the information they have with little to no documentation. I wrestled with an issue on my father's side with a marriage that was impossible but everyone thought it was correct until I finally found a copy of the marriage license that verified other information I had found. Family stories are very hard to overcome sometimes.

RE: Michael Monroe son of William
Thanks for the response. I am not sure if you are saying that William and Margaret were not the parents of the last 3 children that I sent. I have documentation from my mother's research into the Monroe family and others that the 15 children I sent were indeed William's and Margaret's. I know that names were duplicated in many branches of the family so it makes it very confusing to sort out who belongs to whom. Based upon Margaret's age, she could have been the mother of them.

However, to be sure, I will recheck my sources when I return home.

Transferred Margaret Mary Stumpf and John Stumpf to you. I've always felt family belongs with family, no matter the distance in relationship.

Thanks.

Margaret Mary Stumpf - Eastern
Hi. Information comes from the original burial lot card and supplemented by ancestry.com. There is no indication for a marker on the card, and I have never found one in the years I walked Eastern. There appears to be one central marker, and a marker for Amelia Witte and a marker in the space on the card only identified as "mother".
Lot belongs to Louis Stumpf. You are welcome to contact me via my email address and I'd be happy to send you a copy of the lot card.

Thanks.
Bobby

Lillian Louise Arbegust - correction submission
Hi. Appreciate your information. However, my information came from the original lot burial card for that portion of Eastern Cemetery, with her name as listed and a burial date, which I used to do an ancestry search and also found the death certificate.

With respect, am leaving information as is at this time due to the listing on the burial card and the matching data on the death certificate.

I have no personal knowledge of this individual, and if you could provide something that shows different, would be more than happy to consider it. I strive to make sure data is correct when entering information in Eastern Cemetery.

Thanks.

Bobby

Sorry for making a duplicate memorial. When I searched I didn't see it. Were you related to Clyde? He was my cousin. If you want to merge the two memorials, that would be OK with me. Or if you want to add my info to your memorial, that would be fine also. I will delete my memorial afterwards, that way no info is lost.

Katherine Noll Kohler
Hi - I was just wondering if you mind if I use your photo of Katherine Noll Kohler on my Ancestry.com tree. I saw your bio where it said not to publish on other websites & was wondering if you make exceptions for sites like Ancestry.com. I always provide appropriate photo credits when I use photos provided by other people.

Thanks so much!
Jodi

Charlotte & Lorenz Kohler
Hi EDM,

I was just wondering if you allow people to use your photos as part of our trees on Ancestry.com. I always give appropriate credit for any photos taken by people other than myself. If you do, I'd like to request permission to use the headstone photo for Charlotte & Lorenz Kohler (Lorenz would be my 2nd great grand uncle).

I'd like to give a big thanks to both you & your mother for all the hard work you have done & for sharing it with all of us!

Best regards,
Jodi Switalski

Hannah Fairbanks Edits
What wonderful work you are doing here at findagrave.com! I was noticing you have taken over caring for the memorial of Jonathan Fairbanks (1666-1697) and have linked him to his wife and two of their three children. In Jonathan's biography, you mention that he had three children and name all three. But Hannah is not yet linked to Jonathan's memorial. I am interested because Hannah is the daughter of my 7th great grandmother, Mary Hayward, by her first husband, Jonathan. Would you be kind enough to link Jonathan (#6238433) to his daughter, Hannah (#62384343), so that the family can be together at findagrave.com? I hate to see Hannah's memorial separated from her family. Again, many thanks for all that you are doing for everyone touched by your memorials. All my best to you, Susan

Carrs and McCaslins married each other for several generations making this a most confusing family. I do have an advantage as Elisabeth is my fourth great grandmother.
