RE: Kauffman
I did use and follow that grave location that you gave--2512, C and D. It seems you have the wrong location.
I can take down the photos--but perhaps you might call the cemetery and get the correct burial location.

RE: Sydney + Evelyn Anderson
You are so welcome!

Which number do you have for the office? I have never actually been able to contact anybody! Seems like they're hard to get ahold of!

Sydney and Evelyn Anderson
Hi Jeremy,

I fulfilled your request for a photo of Sydney and Evelyn's marker. I also added the GPS Coordinates so you can see exactly where their grave is on the map. Hope these help. :)

RE: A C Jones at IPC
The person who requested the photo is too lazy to even call the cemetery to get more info. I think he/she is just a name collector. And the person who entered the memorial is just as lazy; she did not bother to try to get more info, either. I won't be bothering with that photo request, but thanks for the info anyway. I'll be sending you an email shortly.

RE: Fink
your very welcome!! glad i can help!! sorry if the picture looks bad, because the head stone was kind of sunked in the ground!! most of the head stones from deceased that died passed the 1990s, their head stone would most likely have sinked in the ground!! i tryed to clear the stone to make it look more readable!! i did the best as i could!! hope this all helps!!

Hi Jeremy,
I'll be happy to transfer the memorials. I am wondering how you are related. Lucina Glass Barclay is the is the sister of my g-g-grandfather, William Johnston Glass. So maybe we are related??
I will get the transfers made today.

Alpegini, etc.
Jeremy,

Be sure to correct memorials that have discrepancies and/or missing information, usually the markers are correct.

To the right of Albert's grave is his daughter's grave, Jo Ann ,(S- 12- 7) 04/10/1939 - 11/04/1970. She was married to Robert E. Dahlstrom. Her marker also has " and son 11/04/1970". This means that she was pregnant at the time of death, but had not given birth as of yet. I cannot find any indication of birth in the state records, cemetery records nor in her obit. [A small aside, she would have known my father, who taught at Albany High for 37 years].

To the right of her are Albert's parents, John and Minnie AlpeGENE. (S- 12- 6)

John C. 04/29/1888 - 01/20/1976
Minnie M. 07/25/1891 - 12/30/1982

Of course I have pictures.

Thank you
Jeremy - I can't thank you enough for all your help this week. The truth has been very hard to understand but I'm glad I know. Also thanks for the form regarding San Diego. I will get it notarized tomorrow and in the mail and then we will see what that turns up. At least this time I am prepared for what I suspect I'm going to find out.

I finally found Thomas again, just at the point where I had reached the end of all of the old stones and said to myself "Where the h*ll is Thomas" - right in front of me. There is no stone for Hitty. I left as detailed a note as I could in the caption.

Jack Parker

RE: Hitty Stickney - Riverview
I was sure I'd run across Thomas today. I'm in the process of re-walking the entire cemetery checking each stone against missing names. Kind of a slow process, but getting faster as we are now down to about 100 missing photos, with 10 known bogus memorials, and 4 known to have no stone, so 89. There are a lot of Stickneys, so I check every one. Thomas must be in the old section, because I've fairly carefully covered the 1825-1950 chunk at this point. Might get back out there tomorrow, otherwise we're talking late August/September.

cheers

I have been unable to re-find Thomas! Where I thought he was he isn't. The place is loaded with Sitckneys. I am preparing for a final walk through with the full list of 196 missing names and as much detail as I can pull together on each, I'd like to do that this July, but summer is interfering. I have not forgotten her.

RE: Photos
you're welcome. there's no record of what grave the photos came from. Just a small box of loose pictures. Probably less than 30 in all.
No names or distinguishing marks at all. So make sure you know who you are looking for.
they let me take the photo with me. we reattached it with some construction adhesive.

Hi, I saw your message to Katie about lost headstone photos.
Call the cemetery office and they will get you in contact with the ground staff. They have a small box of photos and I was able to find my great Aunt. Unfortunately more times than not, the photos were vandalized and destroyed. I found pieces of another around the base of the headstone.

The last of the photo requests... I'm not submitting a problem report until I re-find her husband Thomas and check around him. It is unlike me to miss a headstone, but it happens to everyone - I expect to re-visit Sunday.
