RE: Samuel W. Boggs
Hi Jim,
Thanks. Sure, why don't I take over Amy and SW Boggs. I can add a few photos of my grandfather, though the ones you added of grandma are just great!

I'm only beginning to settle into my new abbreviated schedule, and I haven't planned most of the summer. But I'm still really wanting to come up. I need to sit down with a calendar and think!

Talk to you soon.

Hi Jim,

I've just been snooping my way around Findagrave again. You're doing a wonderful job with all the Bridgman photos. I notice that you've created a memorial for my grandpa Boggs. Thanks.!! Are you the one that would be able to connect him to his parents? Or is it the other way around? If you can connect him, here is the info: mother - Lillian Whittemore Boggs, memorial 25384661 and father - Charles F Boggs memorial 25384641.

You have really good references. I've been assured that you will take very good care of the memorials.

Robert Kearney is my uncle. He married my mother's sister, Chris.
No problem with the transfer. Happy to do it.

Bridgman Info
On each memorial in the upper right hand corner are two tabs "Edit" and "Share". When you click on edit, one of the choices is Suggest a Correction. Click on that; make SURE you click on the little box that says "send me a copy" (you will need a copy of the e-mail if you run into someone who will not update a memorial). In the empty box, you put the information you want updated and/or you ask if the contributor will transfer the memorial to you.

Using Suggest a Correction (SAC) is the best way to communicate about a memorial as it automatically sends links to the memorial & your contributor # to the person who maintains the memorial. It insures that the information gets placed on the correct memorial & if you ever need to send a correction to edit, it is proof that you tried contacting the uncooperative creator/maintainer first & gives edit all the information it needs to fix the correct memorial

I know the FAQ states not to send more than 20 SACs a week, but I don't hold to that as long as the other person understands that it may take me a while to get through them all. I have a strange work schedule so there are days when Find A Grave does not get much of my attention.

WELCOME to Find A Grave. Hope you find it as enjoyable a site as I do. If you get the chance, check out the Forums (separate log-on). Stop by the Massachusetts one & say hi to the rest of us from Mass.

Please feel free to send any additional information.
I generally only transfer within the 4 generation rule (see the FAQ) so if someone falls within that rule please use the edit tab on that memorial to request a transfer
Are you the Jim Bridgman from the Gazette?
