I really am glad that I was able to help in locating her, that's a reall good feeling and kind words like yours make it all worth the effort.
When I first started out 4 years ago I kept every foto that I took but have now suspended that practice.
Mainly because I filled my hard drive and also there was no call to revisite them, the fotos, that is.
I tried to locate her by name in Texas, no luck.
If U will provide her memorial, I'll see about swinging by and getting ya a set of various shots to email.
Later, James Coston
Oh yea, interesting story that parallels yours.
A Confederate soldier repotted KIA in Georgia in 1864.
His family was looking for him there over 10 years.
I came across his widow in Mexia Cemetery.
I witched beside her and found an adult male.
Based on that finding, I probed, located and re-surfaced
His Confederate tombstone. Case Closed.
It's amazing what is out there to be found.
