RE: looking for Mabee family

Yes it was in Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Ingham, Michigan. I did check with the Village clerk who takes care of the cemetery and she had the same thing our records did-who owed it, but no record of anyone buried on it.

Sorry I could find any more information.

Happy Hunting,

RE: looking for Mabee family

I was just looking through some cemetery records and found a lot owned by "E. M. Maybee" It states there is no gravestones on it, But might this be who you are looking for?

It is possible they are buried here (old burial records are long gone), but if you find something that gives us some facts that they are buried here, I would be glad to create memorials with what data we have. Then we can go from there.

Because the burials are so early, records are hard to find.

Good Luck,

RE: re: Avery family Lowell, MI

Hello Donna,

I was an antique dealer for 14 years and, amongst other things, I used to deal in old books, photographs, ephemera. I sold locally and I had an eBay store. I have had a love of local history and genealogy since I was a boy. Whenever possible, I would add images to 'Find A Grave' memorials. However, the photo and the album it was in have long been sold and I have no idea when or to whom.

I'm sorry I could not not be of more help.

RE: looking for Mabee family

We have entered all the records we could gather up from D.A.R.and old cemetery records that are still around.

There is several other cemeteries in the Dansville area, so there is a chance they were buried in another cemetery besides Fairview.

We also have input some old records into those cemeteries too. If there is no marker and have the record, we still make a Find A Grave memorial for them with what we know and state that the marker is not visible.

Good Luck with your search. Dead ends are very madding and yours being so early, records are not good.
