RE: Cowman Family Stawell
Hi Stephen,

Thank you for your message. I am not a member of the Cowman family. I had some time to spare one day in Stawell and took a few photographs of some of the older gravestones at the cemetery.

Good Luck with your research,

Liz

RE: my great great great grandma married a byrne
Hi Stephen, what was Mary's whole name? I had a great grandma named Bridget Lynch. If u look on the census for 1901 or 1911 it show's a John Lynch,Elizabeth Lynch, and a Bridget. Bridget was a shop assistant and was about 17 or 18 at time of census.

Bridget had 4 children and married a Patrick Curtis and Bridget died while giving birth to the youngest.

Elizabeth married a Byrne and her dad was John Lynch(which is on the census for 1901 or 1911).

If you have questions just ask and I can let you know the info that I have to see if things match up.

Have a great day and hope to hear from you.

Steven are u in the states? I was thinking about doing the dna test but its very expensive. have u done it yet?

Elizabeth Lynch's dad was John Lynch.
Read the census 1901 or 1911. You will see John's name on one of the forms.

I believe we are related in some way.

I am not joking.

I believe she was. I ran across a form with some info on it about a John Lynch...I believe it was the census 1901 or 1911. In the sensus it shows Elizabeth and Bridget Lynch on there and then it showed on the other form of the census that there was a John Lynch who owned some type of shop.

YES:)

Elizabeth had a granddaughter named Bridget which is my grandma's mom. My grandma was named after Elizabeth's siblings...Elizabeth Eileen Curtis.

Bridget was born in 1885 died in 1918 sometime before or after.

I was in Ballinrobe today and took some photographs for you. Unfortunately it was a stormy day. The Old Gormley stone in the older section is difficult to read, maybe in the brighter weather it take a clearer picture, I can try again sometime.

You are probably aware of this website where you can read the transcription of the grave.
http://www.irishgraveyards.ie/search.php?yardid=318&lastname=Gormley&firstname=&address=&county=Mayo&month=&year=

If you want to you can use this photograph for your other family memorials.

Re: Joseph Clarke, will revisit to get this one

If the photos are not sastisfactory I can remove them.

Regards
Dympna

Kind regards Tracey Roe.
