No, sorry I am not related. I went to that remote cemetery to research my Rittimann relatives and ended up adding memorials for all.

First let me thank you for your very professional
photos of both Jack & Helen's grave markers Then
thank you for your volunteer time & work for
Find A Grave. I grew up with Jack in Fort Smith and the
University of Arkansas as we went on our paths
in different directions . I went to work for the
Texas Highway Department building Freeways and
bridges. Several years later we meet on the job. Jack had gone to work for a powder Company, Atlas
as I remember, and as a salesman he would be
responsible for supervising the loading of power
and its detonation. This was a most unusual job
as he could see in his mind , what the shot was
going to look like before it happened . He was
an artist in all the things he could do with
powder and make heavy construction excavation
efficient and cost effective. Most of this work
took place in downtown Fort Worth without damage
to any of the surrounding structures. This was
in the'50's & '60's before he moved to Houston
Jack was a very special person and again I thank
you for your photos.------joseph irwin

Hi Dee, thank you so very much for taking the time to photograph his grave. It means a great deal to me and my family that we can begin to understand where we came from (biologically-speaking) and every piece of the puzzle gets us that much closer. Thanks again!

Actually, that seems to me normal behavior for cemeteries. Only twice have I been able to get detailed info by phone. Usually I've had to either write using snail mail or visit.

Thanks for telling me that mu cousin, Sara Bossung can't be found without knowing where she is. I appreciate the problem.
I called this morning and they told me they can't do that by telephone, that I need to come in person. (They have to go into a vault to get at those records.) My son lives in Austin. I'll see if I can get him to get over there to do that for me.
I was told that they're open daily, and by 9AM he should have no problem. I'll ask him to go ahead and get the photo too. If he agrees, I'll cancel the photo request.

Hello, and thank you for your prompt reply. Marjorie was the stepdaughter of my 1st great aunt. She was the daughter of Lynn Dumas, who was married at least 5 times. I met his son, Roger E. Dumas, and have pictures of him when he lived with my grandmother. Marjorie married Doc Edgar Hughes Jr. and had 2 sons, Damon Eric, and Doc E. Hughes III. There are 2 Findagrave memorials for Doc E. Hughes Jr. Findagrave.com: Birth: Apr. 21, 1919 - Death: Nov. 23, 1992. Family links: Spouse: Louise Sevier Hughes (1938 - 2002); Inscription: PAPA Burial: Evergreen Memorial Park. Crockett, Houston County, Texas, USA. Created by: Carol Hoch. Record added: Feb 24, 2013. Find A Grave Memorial# 105774385.

Dee, thank you so much for posting a memorial for my classmate Michael. I only learned of his passing when we were having our 40th reunion last year. It makes me sad to see his memorial on one hand, but I am also to pleased that you have memorialized him. He should never be forgotten.

Thank you, Dee, for the photo of my husband's father's grave. It means a great deal to us, and it also helps my obsessive little self with my genealogical research documentation.
