Don is my husbands first cousin. I knew Don and his first wife Phyllis. I exchanged Christmas cards & letters with Janet. But didn't know much about her. Sorry to hear about her passing. Will check out the memorial for her.

Helena Ann Davenport
Thanks for photographing the grave marker for (Helena) Ann Davenport. It looks like, after all, Mrs. Davenport was probably not a centenarian, since her death date is clearly not 1966, as her FindAGrave entry states. Looks like 1936. I noticed that someone has already put in an edit request to change one of the dates already. If that was you, then thanks again!

I went through my messages and found the woman who sent me the information. This is a memorial she contributed #96689122. If you go to that memorial, you will find her name at the bottom as contributor. You can click on her name and message her.

Hope this helps.

Mary - you might try to contact contributor 48689119 who gave me the information which I included on Gertrude's memorial.

Ann -
I have no information beyond what I have placed on Bonnie's memorial. The 'correspondence' you mentioned was suggested by someone who contributed what I included on the memorial of the trip to Montana by Bonnie and her children.

I photographed the entire cemetery in St. Ignatius, MT in 2013, and as I always do, attempted to find as much information about the individual as I could. Everything I know is on the memorial including the mention of what I don't know.

I wish you luck!

RE: Calhoun, Lee and others
Hello Ann,

Yes, researching here in New England, we run into "consort" all the time. The other term you'll run into is "relict" which simply means the surviving spouse: "...relict of John Smith..." for example.

Happy hunting,

Ann I only placed his parents names on the site according to his death certificate see http://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1918/1918_00037209.PDF stating his parents as D A Logan and Mary Dickman. If you are related to this James Logan I would transfer him to your care but as the death certificate states his parents were D A and Mary Dickman Logan I think it best for me to leave as is. As said I would be happy to transfer him to you..Best wishes Mike in Missouri. I track old railroaders as I am one myself..

Well, I appreciate that, but I have had a running subscription with Ancestry for years. I'm not sure why, but I neglected to check the military databases. His draft registration has Joab Abe Logan right on it. lol

Edna Boaz Resz
Edna married David Resz in 1911. David's sister Lena (born 1876) married Thomas Buck (who was much older than she...he was born in 1844) They had 7 children together. Thomas Buck was my 2nd greatgrandfather. Thanks for the additional links for Edna.

RE: Very helpful data pages (Boaz)
I found Robert V. Boaz on Intelius also but I did not pay for his location. On Find A Grave, someone has listed him as deceased with out a death date. His name is listed on his wife's headstone as a lot of couples do that then death date put on later. I want to go see him where ever he is; the last time he had the appearance of having had a stroke. He may be worse and in an assisted living facility. Please keep me informed.

RE: McCloud/Boaz/Kittel
Ann, It probably has 4-5 years since I went to Independence, Mo to his apartment and out to lunch; at that time he gave me all of his research on the McCloud family as his children were not interested:(
My Christmas card was returned with another address showing under the return label; I resent the card to that address and it was never returned.
Please let me know if you find out Anything; I had tears when he gave me his research, I know how much time and labor went into it.
Thanks:)

Regarding the obituary, I cannot post an as published obit. I will modify it consistent with FG guidelines.

Ann: When I got my right eye done, I saw white as white. When I closed the right eye, I saw off white to light yellow tones in the left eye. This has really made a different. My sister also just had her left eye done this past Monday and will have the right eye done in later September. The doctor adjusted my right eye for far-sightedness and the left eye for near-sightedness. My mother and oldest brother also had theirs done years ago. Don't know if heredity plays a part in cataracts. PROBABLY JUST OLD AGE CREEPING UP!! Take care and keep in touch! Charlie.
