RE: Jonah & Lorinda Howe
Thank you, so much, for taking the great photos of the headstones of Jonah and Laurinda Howe and posting them. The additional information is helpful and I appreciate that, as well. I've been traveling so apologize for the delay in my response. The Sheridan Cemetery appears to be a wonderful place for a fall walk. Good luck with your searches and thank you again. RE: Thank You for the Photos

The Kreiders and Dahlkempers are branches of a large family in Erie, PA, the Thalers, that I descend from:

John Adam Thaler (1843 - 1917)

Franceska Thaler (1845 - 1926)

I am trying to document the Thaler tree as much as I can and Findagrave is an excellent way to make some of my documentation available on line.

Thank you for your time and assistance. It is greatly appreciated.

Dave Nies
Thaler Headstones

Hi, my name is Dave and I went to Mt Olives Cemetery to photograph the headstone requests that you did not claim.

I just want you to know that in taking the ones I claimed, I also took the ones YOU claimed. I'm not trying to hog all the photo requests, believe me. It's just that the ones I took were on the same headstones as yours.

For example, Carl Thaler Sr (your claim) was married to Lenore Thaler (my claim); Edward Thaler (your claim) was married to Cecelia Thaler (my claim); Carl Thaler Jr (your claim) was married to Betty (no request for this one).

I also took John & Rita Thaler's photos.

I know a lot about these people because all of them were my neighbors in Greene Township years ago. Carl and Lenore are parents of Carl Jr ("Sonny"), John, and Neal (my claim out of Laurel Hill Cemetery), and John was married to Rita. I actually don't know the relationship of them to Ed & Cecilia. I do remember them speaking of "Ceil" Thaler, but never knew who she was.

Anyway, if you still want to photograph these headstones, be my guest. I just thought I'd save you a trip to that particular cemetery. Either way, let me know. If you don't want to, of course you have to unclaim them. Doesn't matter to me.

Lucille & Sharon Althof
Thank you so very much for providing photos of my Aunt Lucille and Cousin Sharon's grave markers. I appreciate the time you took to fulfill my request!

While you were there did you happen to notice whether my Uncle William Althof is near them as well? I can't imagine him being buried anywhere else but don't want to add a Find A Grave memorial for him at Wintergreen Gorge if he's not.
