The number you provided me for the transfer is NOT your number. Do you really want it to go to Bruce Wertz?

For any that have already been transferred the people who currently maintain them are who you need to contact for transfers.

RE: transfer
Requested info. to Higgins memorials have been added.
I do not know anyone from the SCHS. But I did grow up in Sibley Co. & am quite familiar with the entire county. I am not impressed with the Historical Society in general. Their library does not hold a candle compared to Carver or McLeod Co. What is it exactly you are looking for? Henderson, where the society is located is about 30 miles from my home, but I 'might' think about going if you are interested in an actual record.

Memorial Transfer
In the past I have transferred memorials to anyone who sent requests, above and beyond Findagrave guidelines. However, I have ceased to do this because too many people abandon their memorials after an initial flurry making it very difficult for others to get corrections made. I do not want to transfer the memorial to find out later that suggested revisions are not being attended to. If you would like additions to this memorial I would gladly add anything you want to send me.

Judy,

I cannot find my old diagram, so I'm going to go out and draw you and I a new one! Can't make it this weekend, but probably next. I would sure like to see that photo you spoke of. I don't believe that there was ever a 525 2nd street, so I'm thinking that it must have been 925 all along, unless they changed the numbers at some point. The house should still be there.

RE: cemetery map
Judy-

I don't know of an actual map, other than the one I drew for myself! It is actually a pretty easy cemetery to figure out, unless you are going into Oddfellows, which is pretty un-tidy. The gate is always open, which is NOT a good thing. One of the local funeral homes seems to be in charge, but they don't seem to spend much energy on it. I will try to put together a diagram of the sections for you, once you figure that out it's pretty easy to count the rows and find the sites.

RE: Rendtorff photo
Hi!

Yes I did get a photo of Helen's. I also found a few others I am attempting to identify. I am uploading them now. :)

If you have any others from the Sauk area you need photographed, please let me know. Unfortunately with it being winter, most of these stones will be under a foot of snow soon!

Happy holidays!
~Ashley

RE: photos
Hi Judy I appreciate your thank you! Also--Wanted to let you know that I got photos of William Rily Wood (1879-1966) and Julia Younger Wood (1880-1970). They are next to William Younger Wood. If you will add their memorials, I will add the pix. Of if you'd prefer that I do the memorials and transfer to you, that's fine too. Let me know.

Regards,
Barbara
