|Joseph Hancammon||David Crockett Young|
I found an obituary for one of David's children, Claudius Vance (C.V.) Young at the Johnston County Heritage Center.
His burial was listed at the "family cemetery in the Peacock Crossroad section," with is Meadow, the location for the David C. Young Cemetery. I'm wondering if C.V. Young is indeed buried there with his Father and Mother and his grave is just not marked.
Interesting, to say the least. On our next trip up that way to my Wife's family cemetery near Meadow, the Jernigan Family Cemetery on Hannah Creek Road, it'll be worth checking out.

|James E Bass||Stott Cemetery, Wilson NC|
My grandmother was an Ellis and there are many Ellis family members buried in this cemetery.
We would love to visit the cemetery, but can't find Tarts Mill Pond in Google maps.
Can you provide directions on how to find it?
It would be much appreciated. We are traveling to Wilson, NC next week, 12 April, to see the grave markers for our Bass great grandparents.
Thank you for all you are doing!

Thank you very much for transferring David, Louisa, and Fanny Young.
The first time my Wife and I saw this cemetery in Meadow, it hadn't been cleaned up in some time--trees and shrubs completely hid it from the highway. My wife's Brother had told it where it was located.

|Deborah S||RE: Reddick Webb|
Hi! You folks do such awesome work, thank you so much for everything you have done in Wilson County and surrounding areas.
I admit I am confused. It looks like you own the Redick Webb memorial 118362393. I am not sure which memorial you would like to have transferred to you. But I know who you mean as asking somebody to do a transfer and getting no response or a refusal. I don't remember if I have ever asked the person you mention to transfer anything to me or not. I think I have sent her requests to update or link people but not sure that got done. I wonder if she is no longer active? Unfortunately that happens. Billy Womble was doing great work but all of a sudden dropped off the map a couple of years ago. Not sure if these folks have passed away or simply lost interest or got sick or what.
The only thing I can suggest is to contact the FindaGrave "authorities" and explain the challenge you are facing. I am not sure they can or will "force" anybody to do a transfer, or do it for them, but you can ask.
I sympathize and wish I could help.

I have no problem transferring the memorial, but she is buried in Buckhorn Cemetery, its the only place I went that day. What do you have for her burial location?

|William Perry Deans Sr||Lutora Deans|
Do you have a location of Lutora Deans grave site.
She was one of Andrew Jackson Deans daughters and married Rufus Renfrow / Rentfrow in 1885 reportedly in Tarbora NC. After that no record. Rufus remarried Mary Jane Finch in 1888. Any help will be appreciated.

|Jeffrey Davis||RE: Hollands|
I do not have that story off hand but have contacted someone that has given me some good information about another Holland in the same family that left home and there was limited information regarding them. Will let you know if I find out anything.
On a different subject, related to Memorial Church Cemetery you are listed as the original photographer of the cemetery. Do you recall a small gravestone for Baby Girl Davis? Would have been near Thomas and Ruth Davis. A couple of persons have looked, it seems to be gone.

Thank you for all your efforts, you have helped document a great deal of my family tree. Wanted to give you some updates. 118421720 is Jennette the son of Ellen and Jesse Holland, not Jennettie a daughter. Also, Forest Holland (118422734) is the son of Milford Jarvis Holland and Appie Gurley Holland my great grandparents. Thank you!

You have photographed this gravestone in Josiah Hinnant Cemetery, on Hinnant Edgerton Rd in Kenly.
I am looking for the gravestone of her father Jacob Barnes, who died in 1868. If you are close to this cemetery, could you see if he is buried there?

My profound apologies! I don't see how I made that mistake. I assume that incorrect information belonged to someone who was buried very near him, and I was working on both after photographing a section and mixed them up. I have fixed it and linked him to parents. Again, I apologize as the misinformation was not just wrong, it was embarrassing for an upright citizen!!

|William Perry Deans Sr||Lutora Deans|
Do you have a location of Lutora Deans Renfrow (Rentfrow), Rufus Renfrow (Rentfrow)first wife.
Oral history from Mary J Finch Family, his second wife, said she had him buried beside Lutora when he died. No grave has been found as of yet.
Lutora was Andrew Jackson Deans Daughter.

|Renee Cashwell||RE: Jobe Road Cemetery|
Thank you very much for you taking the time to research this cemetery. I think I am related to the late Wesley Williams somehow. My family cemetery is the Williams Family Cemetery on Flood Store Road in Edgecombe county outside of Sharpsburg. The cemetery I asked you about is a predominately Black cemetery. I believe I remember my dad, the late Wade Joyner, saying that there is one White person buried there somewhere on the west edge of it. For some reason the surname Trevathan rings a bell. There are a few graves marked only by a plain granite rock. A couple of graves are those of little children and their graves have tombstones with lambs on the top. I lived in the house next to the cemetery from 1975-1978.

|Renee Cashwell||Jobe Road, Elm City, NC|
There is a cemetery on Jobe Rd. outside of Elm City, NC. I lived next to it in the late 1970's. My father, Wade Joyner owned the land it was on. I don't know any information about it. I'd like the name of it, and to see a list of the people interred there and some photos of it. I remember reading the names of the people buried there. People used to come to our house requesting burial sites for their loved ones and my father would go into the cemetery with them and search for sites. This was 40 years ago but I remember it well.
