RE: Calhoun
Mac
Yes I have Cora Lee Bailey Calhoun, b.13 Dec 1894 Anson, Jones, TX - d.16 Jan 1989 Sweetwater, Nolan,TX
married to Earl Calhoun

I think I have Earl Born in Adair, but lived in Kaufman TX a few years when he was young, with Mggie Wolford and George Milton Calhoun. He would have been living real close to my grandpa KIRT CALHOUN too. I then have him moving back to Adair where he died. Did he meet Cora Lee in TX?

I have followed Earl hoping he would lead me to my KIRT CALHOUN. I have notes on Earl if you want me to send them to you, email me at: breschs@hotmail.com

RE: Judy Calhoun with a question
Hi Mac
I don't think I answered this.
J.C. Calhoun (a boy) only lived for 5 months and is buried in the Radar Cemetery in Kaufman Co. TX.
The next year another baby died at 3 months Kerney Calhoun is also buried in Radar Cemetery. Then the last two born were Custer b.1914 and then my dad Alton Calhoun b. 1916.

Kirt Calhoun (their dad) moved to Garland Texas when he left Kentucky. I believe he met and married Hattie C Coombs in Garland and then they moved to Kaufman TX.

I find George Milton Calhoun and Maggie Wolford Calhoun in the same places at the same time and always live near one another.
What I am trying to find in Kirt and Hattie's marriage cert. in Garland, and Kirt's death cert. in Kaufman. Been looking for years and keep checking back. So that is I have been doing this week.
Hope all is well in Kentucky.

udy Calhoun with a question
Hi Mac
A quick question about Mary Charlotte Williams Hayes Calhoun (Dudley?).
I am trying to figure this out.
Is her given name, Mary Charlotte Williams?
Then did she marry a Hayes and then a Calhoun and then a Dudley?
Be great if you could clear this up for me.
Hope all is well in Kentucky. :)

HUDSON - CALHOUN

Nice to hear from you. Which pic are you referring to? I put 3 of Joe Calhoun, teacher at Conover School in Adair and one of Josiah Hudson. Let me know which ones you don't have and I will send to you. I am hoping someone can ID the children in the school pic. I believe many are "Shepard."

Tarter
oops ... Just saw "TARTER." My grandfater's sister Matilda Jane Calhoun 1860-1920, married John P Tarter b.1855 and I have been searching any small detail I can find about this family. I have a lot of info on the, but my elusive grandfather, LEVI C CALHOUN aka (Kirt/Kurt/Kirk) remains pretty much a mystery. I would love to see how you are related, and any shred of info, no matter how small, might be the missing piece I need.
Thanks

WOLFORD, HUDSON
Looks like you are researching in Adair & Russell Countie Kentucky and maybe Kaufman Texas. I have been combing those areas for about 20 years hunting mainly Calhoun's but they all intermarried so I have info on about 70% of the families in those three places. Happy to share and help if I can.

Sarah (Sallie) Hudson
Thank you. Rhoda Ann had two children Sarah (Sallie) Goodin and John Goodin. She died after John was born but George Washington Goodin, Sarah and William's son, shows up as Rhoda's son because she was raising him until her death in 1860. I know she is buried in Russel, Kentucky but have no idea which cemetery she is located. I did know that Sallie and Amy were sisters.

David Bryant has helped me with the history of Rhoda's daughter, Sarah (Sallie) who was his grandmother and Rhoda his great grandmother. Rhoda is my great grand aunt.

Sarah (Sallie) Hudson
I am guessing that you are a relative and appreciate the picture you have posted.
I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer. Ancestry shows her with two sons by William (Bill) Goodin and I do not think it can be accurate. Their Kentucky marriage certificate shows they married 10 Feb 1853. They have a son named Henry Goodin as 1545-1600. Unless the marriage certificate is incorrect this can't be their son and I find him listed no where else.
Her second son, and I believe only son, was George Washington Goodin born 19 May 1854. I am also wondering if it could be possible that she died from childbirth complications and if you know when she died. He married my relative, Rhoda Ann Pemberton, 19 Dec 1855. She raised him and is listed as his mother on the census. They had two children Sarah (Sallie) Goodin and John Goodin. She died in 1860, do not have a date or Find A Grave entry, and then he married Any (Nannie) Hudson, Sarah's sister, on 3 Dec 1860 and had six children.

Thanks,

Wanda

RE: Williams
No there really isn't much info on James Williams and his wife that anyone has ever found. His wife is assumed to have been a Glover as there is an older Glover woman living with them on the 1850 census, and this is presumed to be James Williams' mother-in-law.

Nola Cecile Bradshaw
You only have one child for Nola Cecile Bradshaw and also Henry Bradshaw. That is Henry Eugene Bradshaw. They have three daughters:
Arlene Bradshaw Patrick
Alene Bradshaw
Marian Delores Bradshaw

Don't know where you got your incorrect information. There is too much of that out there already.
