RE: Sponsoring Grandma's Site
I passionately dislike adds framing such a loving moment of our loved one's lives. Seems so out-of-place and even downright disrespectful. I understand a business has to receive add money to exist in the internet world, so five bucks a site seems like a really good deal to compensate them for the loss of the add money.

I had no idea until today that you've added so many of our ancestors to this site until I noticed your name beneath someone's photo . . . then I started seeing your name everywhere! Well done, Kelley.

RE: Sunnyside confusion
Inez Watt resides in Sunnyside Cemetery in the Myrtle section, lot 81, and shares a headstone with Charles and Ruth Blatt.

George's death certificate shows his wife to be Lela Watt, who is also at Forest Lawn. I assume she is his second wife.

Per guess on my part: When Inez died, George bought two adjacent graves intending to be buried next to Inez. The headstone was engraved for Inez only with a blank area above for George's name and dates. When George died, his second wife Lela bought two spaces in Sunnyside Mausoleum at Forest Lawn and George was interred in one of them. When Charles Blatt died, someone recognized that the family owned an unused grave and George (and later Ruth) were buried in that grave at Sunnyside.

RE: Wes Harris
You're welcome. I found it in my grandmother's records. Viola, his wife was her sister. If I find anything else for him, I will let you know.

RE: Esther Hulse
Am not related. Obit would have been submitted by someone who requested it be posted; however, unfortunately it appears the actual source was omitted by mistake.

RE: Charles Elwood Paist newspaper article
Hi Kelley,

No I'm not a relative of Charles Paist. I just saw the obit and figured family members wouldn't think to look for it in the Ord paper. If I see a good obit on a Civil War Vet I often copy and post it, and this was a very good obit. I usually caption the picture with date and source but must have omitted it here. I've made the correction. Mike

RE: John and Barbara Kinsinger
Fannie Kinsinger Bertsche was one of 8 children of Johannes (John) Kinsinger and his second wife, Barbara Wagler Kinsinger. Fannie was born October 16, 1866 in Tazewell County; married Peter Bertsche on February 16, 1893, in Benton County, Indiana. They had 7 children. Fannie died June 19, 1927 in Goodland, Indiana. She was a sister of my great grandmother, Jakobina "Phoebe" Kinsinger Bertsche who married Peter Bertsche's brother, John Bertsche II.

RE: photo
you are quite welcome. FYI... when I went to the Geary City Hall, they told me someone else had just asked for information concerning Laurence Colchin. I have no idea who it was.
