Hopefully you can clarify a dilemma. The obituary with this memorial says that his wife was Ruth Hopkins Knox. But a new gravestone clearly identifies his wife as Mamie R Hopkins 140001725. Can you cast some light on this issue?

Oops! I thought I had all of the memorials at Walker but I don't. Deborah has a bunch of them. I transferred all the ones that I have of the Ingletts and Wideners. I also have the following surnames if you want any of these:

If there is anyone else you want to take over that is at the Walker Cemetery let me know. I have all of the memorials at that cemetery since I was the original person to survey it. I have no family connections there. The cemetery just happens to be close to my house.

Re: Hoods
I was wondering if you have any Hood relatives in Muscogee county Ga. or Finchers. My mother married a man named William(bill) Fincher and I remember seeing a video tape of his family whose last name was Hood.I have the tape out in my storage shed but I will have to see if it's still veiwable My mother moved to Florida 5 years ago and had a triple bypass and hasn't been able to come back home because of circulation problems.I am in possession of all her belongings.I am sure she wouldn't mind if you have it.I will get it out tomorrow and see if it's still good.If you would like to have it we can arrange somehow for you to get it.I don't know why I didn't think of that before I guess because I was caught up with finding out about don't know why but she means a lot to me I guess there's just a mystery that draws me to her.I will say bye for now but will let you know about the tape soon. Thanks, Marti

I apologize. I just assumed that it was you who posted it.Well I guess I'm still searching then.I appreciate you responding though.Rosa was my Granma Mattie's sister who was married to Mr. Inglett. My mother and father were divorced and I really never knew any of my fathers family until his death. That is when I started searching for Granma Sallie's family.

Granma Sallie
Hey my Grandmother is Mattie Rickerson Widener and Sallie is her mother.I was wondering how you determined who her parents were.I have been looking seems like forever and haven't found anything. Are you sure her maiden name was Gay and that wasn't her married name?I believe she was married twice because there is a John Thomas Gay that list Sallie Widener as mother and Will Gay as father.I'M puzzled. Was there a Sallie Widener and Will Gay and a Will Widener and Sallie GAY?If you can help it would be greatly appreciated. My father Carl and Uncle look so much like the picture you put up of Sallie it's really wild. Thanks for any help.

Naomi Susan Morris Allen
That cemetery is one mile from my home and it was the first complete cemetery that I did for Find A Grave. The eagle scouts did a marvelous job of cleaning it up and I took photos of all the headstones there. It is back in back shape now. Naomi is listed as being buried there in the book on Gwinnett cemeteries, but no note showing a tombstone on any of the surveys taken there.
Regards, Bud
