RE: Emerson Alltman
Katie,
My wife Mary has researched the Altman side extensively and recorded all of it. She has a copy of Solomon Altman's diary. He was an extremely amazing man. He taught himself how to read and write. He PA. and arrived in or around Kansas City then walked from K.C. to Lincoln, KS. In fact he walked every place he went after arriving in K.C. The first time rode in a car it was involved in an accident. As a result Solomon lost a leg but it didn't dampen his spirit. I'll see if Mary can find out where those pictures are. She'll know how to get in touch with Max's kids.

Emerson Alltman
I wish to thank you for adding the picture and the information of my late father-in-law. He was so proud as were we of his service to his country. He was there on D-Day though he didn't go ashore until the beaches were secure. Emerson served as a Mess Sgt.,. It's hard to cook in a fire fight. Thank you so much again.

RE: Winstan Anderson
Hi Katie,
While I thank you, I think you have me confused with someone else.
I'm not related, nor do I live on a farm. The only Larson's I know was a teacher named Lois Larson from around Horton, KS area back in the 1970's. It does seem like her husband's name was Lars though.
I hope this means I can still add his picture to his wife's memorial.
Best regards,
Sue

Hi Kathryn!
Just going over some of my memorials. I discovered you have put pictures on Mary Anderson's husband's memorial. I wondered if I may put his photo on her memorial? If not, could you do that?
Regards,
Sue

RE: Alice Hapes
Hi Katie, First off, I wish your Father a Very Happy Birthday !! You are very kind, thank you ! If their are any other memorials that you would like transferred, please just let me know.

To make it easier for you, if there are memorials that you would like, go to that memorial, and use the "edit" tab at the top, right of the page. Most of the contributers like to know the relationship you have with that person. There are some who are sticklers, and will not go out of the Find A Grave guidelines. ALso, add your member number. If there is someone who will not transfer a family member, you can make your own "virtual" Family Memorials. If you look on the right side of your Profile page, there is a category called "Help with Find A Grave", it will help you through that. It's pretty easy, and it can help you keep your loved ones together.

Again, Katie, thank you for your kind words, and if you need any help, just holler at me okay ? And if their are any more memorials also. Sincerely, Sue
