|Finding My Dead||RE: Thank you|
You're welcome. The Shamokin Cemetery has published their burial records and maps of the cemetery on their website (http://www.shamokincemetery.com/). Using this information, I went out today you start going through some of the outstanding photo requests. I did confirm the people with markers around N. Thompson and the information matches the records and maps.

I'm thrilled to be of help. This cemetery is very easy to navigate, as the locations are well marked and are available on any computer, including one posted outside the administration building on-site at Indiantown Gap Cemetery. I've also been assisted by the cemetery staff upon occasion. This is my favorite cemetery, as it's immaculate and stunning. There are hundreds of American flags lining the roads in this cemetery, which is very inspiring. Good luck in your continued efforts to connect the family. With warm regards, Rhonda

You're very welcome. I'm happy that I was able to find Elwood's gravesite. The specific information on your request (section # and site #) made it much easier to find. Per your request, I have added the same picture to his wife's memorial. Have a great day.

|Michael Milliken||Gravel Hill Hoerners|
Sandi, Thanks for the photos for the Hoerners at Gravel Hill Cemetery. My great-grandfather was William Harrison Hoerner (buried at Shoops Cemetery) and some records have this man as William Harrison Hoerner as well (both born about the same time), so it's interesting that he was buried as Harrison William Hoerner. I believe the children are buried in Hummelstown, but their names were inscribed on the parents' headstone as a family marker, but like you said, who knows for sure? They could have been moved. I appreciate your work in locating the graves, taking the photos, and posting to their memorials. Thanks again!

This is my direct ancestor. Many who have gone before me have research him throughly as far back as 1887. The information is correct based on Muddy Creek church records, Hill Cemetery records, his dad's will, History of Lebabnon Co, PA, etc. He is buried in the same lot as his parents and wife. There are no Peters in my family. I am sorry that you are not part of my family.

|Geoffrey D. Decker||Rev. Christian Wilhelm Walborn|
Thank you for your suggestion for Christian Wilhelm Walborn's findagrave page. I would consider combining the other entry with mine but I do not own the other one. Also, it appears that the creator of the other entry dumped several copy-and-paste items from genealogy sites and/or books.
I may pick and choose some more relevant biographical information from the other findagrave entry, though, and add it to mine.
By the way, I am also descended from Rev. Christian Walborn; he is my 7th great grandfather. My great grandfather, Dr. John Adam Klopp's, maternal grandmother was born a Walborn.
Also, it was through the Walborn line to Rev. Christian Walborn's son, Martinus, that I first joined the Sons of the American Revolution. Are you a member of DAR or do you have interest in joining? If so, I can help.
Best wishes, Geoffrey

Hi Sandra, working on getting DAR approval for Nicholas as a Patriot....we are lacking any connection to show Nicholas as being the father of Jacob, 6466809, Patriot). Just wondering if you have any information regarding a Baptismal record, will for Nicholas, etc that mentions Jacob. We are so close but so far!....

Hi Sandra, I linked Jacob B to his father and mother on the site, and also his wife Margaret 6466812 and son John (Jno) Harry Killian. Hope this helps. Jacob B Killian was my 2nd great grandfather, on my mother's side. Guess we must be realted? LOL!

For many years there was a family named Hughes who had a rental business in Lower Paxton Township, where are they buried? John and his parents were good friends and even customers on my fathers.

I photographed the complete cemetery and do not have a gravestone for her husband, nor her parents. They could be buried there, yet the stones could be missing (there are a few of those in the cemetery)and some stones where so weather beaten that there is nothing left on the stone to decipher (sandstone does not hold up to the weather). Sorry I could not be of more help. They are not related to me. Would you like me to transfer her to you?

We have Peter in our tree, but as a distant cousin. Seems that most everyone at Bucher's Meeting house is related. Would be glad to transfer Peter to direct family. Hope you can add more info. Know that Peter is a Civil War veteran; do you have more info on that?
