I am searching for my mother's cousins who lived in Hamilton ON at some point. May Annie Evans married John Penson. I am looking for Arthur and Lloyd Penson. Arthur is buried at St. Luke's I believe.
Might you have information at all on this family name.

|Nancy Tuohy||Saint Pauls Cemetery at Burlington Ontario|
I am trying to find John Johnson's grave my 3rd grt grandfather. His wife my 3 grt grandmother, Elizabeth Betsy MacNeil Johnston is buried at Saint Pauls and I believe you posted her grave site. Betsy is buried with her daughter's family Mary Johnston Campbell.
Talking with a cousin he said John is there at Saint Pauls but separate from the rest of the family having died much earlier.
I am hoping you can assist me in finding John and posting him in the Saint Paul index.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Find A Grave Memorial# 101022968
Once again, I want to say thank you for all your work on finding and posting the gravestones, your photos are just the best.
However, looking at the gravestone photo, it clearly states 1886 not 1885. I have found the death record and she did in fact, pass May 30, 1886.

Thank you so very much for the beautiful memorials for the Gilbert Bastedo families.
I see you weren't sure about a birth year for Rebecca Bastedo. I found her Death Record online and it states she was born Jan 26, 1830, Nelson, Halton, ON. If you would like a copy of the D. C., I would love to share a copy.

|Connie Rifenburg||99635858 Mary Armstrong|
Could you verify the information on this? I have Mary Armstrong with same birth and death years, married to Henry Shannon and buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Petoskey. Any chance you could get a photo of the grave site? My Mary Armstrong was also born in Canada. I have photos of the headstones stating Mary, wife of Henry Shannon, with the following dates.
Birth 6 July 1824
Death 30 Nov 1903
She is my second great grandmother, but I do not have her parents info.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks so much for your work in the Appleby Cemetery. You have made the memorials and entered the tombstone text. I am wondering if you also took photos of the stones? I don't know whether to do photo requests or not.

|Cat Walker||John Cayuga|
I was wondering about your entry for John Cayuga, from
Hagersville, who died from WW1 complications, on April 23, 1932, and buried at the Woodland Cemetery.
I noticed that his parents were listed as Jesse and Ellen Cayuga, née Fraser, but his mother was actually Lucy Johnson, as per his death certificate.

|Susan Binsted||RE: Burlington memorials|
I'm wondering if you initially added the Free Methodist Church Cemetery to the list of cemeteries on Find A Grave...because there is no such cemetery that I can find. The cemetery is called Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church Cemetery and the history and details of the cemetery are on the OGS site...Apparently the Free Methodist congregation rented the old Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church at one point - but that has nothing to do with changing the name of the cemetery...that old church stands vacant now apparently...
I would like to get the name Free Methodist Church Cemetery removed, as it does not exist, but I do not want to create problems for you if you still have memorials and pics to add....any thoughts?

Hi Carrie, Thanks...I'm glad to know I had it correct. I figured out where I got Gorman from, it was from her daughter Annie's birth record of May 2, 1911. I will gladly make any additions or links you would like or if you would like I can transfer Annie and her husband to you...Let me know. Joe

Hi Carrie, to be honest I am not sure on this one...I usually get my information from Ancestry searches but I can't seem to find the reference. I have deleted it for now as I research it again. Thanks, Joe

|Nickole||John Hemingway - St. Luke's|
From Cemetery: There is no record of a Heminway burial in 1876, or in any other year from 1876 to 1900. However, transcribed in the past from the grave stones there are seven Hemingway burials recorded, from 1839 to 1935. There are two John Hemingways listed - one aged 4 months buried in 1839 and the other aged 70 years 9 months, who died April 18, 1896, husband of Elizabeth. There are four Hemingway stones in a line in the north west corner of the church yard, the 1835 one easy to read, another also readable, but two not so. I hope this helps with your research.

|Glen Jones||Mary Black (Calvert)|
Hi Carrie, I have been researching George Calvert who lived in Hannahsville from about 1806 until his death in 1857. He is my great great great grandfather and I am trying to identify my great great great grandmother who quite possibly is Mary Black.
Would you have any information about either Mary of George or other people who might be researching either Mary Black or George Calvert. I would really like to be able to contact them if possible.
Hope to hear back from you
