Joseph G. Keenan
Oddly, both father and son are listed as being interred at St. Joseph's in their obits and both have stones at St. Charles. A mystery.

Joseph G. Keenan
I just created a memorial (175606539) for Joseph G. Keenan, Jr. along with a grave photo. After I added it I noticed that you had a memorial (159073226) for a Joseph Keenan at St. Joseph's Cemetery who I think is the same Joseph. When you have an opportunity, can you take a look at this?

RE: Ida Salerno Photo
You're so welcome, Emily! I've been watching the stone for you for years, every time I drive by I look over, never expecting to see the inscription. This time...what a great surprise!

Happy new year,

RE: Gloria & Walter Quigley
Thank you for letting me know, that is weird, when I was uploading the photo on Gloria's page it did not show the link and thought it needed it. I do see the link is there now.

Cemetery Wanderer
Wesley and Clarice Gamble
I just realized I had uploaded an incorrect headstone picture to the memorial of Wesley Gamble (1896 to 1944). I went ahead and delete it. You may have to re-submit the photo request for Wesley. Sorry about that.

You listed Wesley and Clarice Gamble at Grave 694 of Section 31, Flushing Cemetery. As I mentioned in Problems Reported, I couldn't find grave 694. I did see grave 695. However, Wesley and Clarice are not in grave 695's immediate surrounding area.

RE: Vito & Elsie Bianco
Thank you SO very much - I did not see Elsie - but I am thrilled to have both memorials to manage & post their pictures to. It was very kind of you to transfer them. My husband and I deeply appreciate it. Yes, Find A Grave has been quite a wonderful experience so far. With Sincere Thanks, Beth Buley-Bianco

Yes. I had a spreadsheet import problem with last names starting with A and B. I have contacted Findagrave and waiting for them to pull the names. They should be fixed soon. Sorry about that. Thx.

Re: Thomas A. Hansberry
Thanks for the advisory about my cemetery error. I was utilizing the location found on their website. Odd that it's incorrect.

That being said, I have deleted Thomas' memorial and re-created it in the location specified in his obituary.

RE: Malet Memorial
Hello again, Just moments before I received your edits, I received a message from a2 (#46812011) regarding his memorial. I assumed you were the same person until I read the Contributor Name. If you would, please transfer it to a2 (#46812011), they appear to have known Mr. Malet. Thank you for all your volunteer work.

RE: Problem Photo Requests
Ahh, I wasn't aware the process worked as you describe. My understanding is that the message goes back to the requestor and it is the option of the requestor to remove their requrest after reviewing the noted response. Apologies if that is not the case. There are some outstanding requests where the problem noted is that the photo request has already been fulfilled, but the request languishes on the list of photo requests. Thanks, Helen

Cemetarian at ST Patrick Bay Shore
RE: Ramon Accetella
I see the headstone photo is on both records. One thing that caught my eye was the note about being in the Coast Guard. I maintain a list of all veterans buried in the cemetery and provide it to the Town of Islip veterans service office to make sure that the graves get a flag on Memorial day and Vets Day, also we have a veteran insert in the church bulletin for those 2 weekends. Can you provide any campaigns Ramon was in while a member of the Coast Guard? thanks Bill

Thank you for your email. For right now I am just using the information from the cemetery web site. Every now and then I run across an entry where I think the spelling is wrong and I go to SSDI on ancestry (if recent enough) to check. (I do know about the new rules SSA implemented, which sucks! LOL) I do use family search, legacy, genealogy bank, genweb sites, etc. etc. I have been working on my husband's family tree and my own for a few years and have learned to take advantage of many sites. I love the states that allow people to view the actual death certificates. Find-a-Grave is a hobby but a very passionate one!! After I finish with St. John Cemetery, I plan on going thru the entire list on findagrave and adding birth and actual death dates and whatever family links can be found. I also plan on talking with the staff and try to get some of the errors on their list fixed. Thanks again for contacting me. I really do appreciate it!

RE: James White
lol yes that's who it was. I just came across her name while I was adding her name to the spreadsheet that i'm sending over to the cemeterian at st. patrick cemetery. rosemary is buried in sec 3 with:

Halpin Family
Roy Walker
Paul, Charlotte, Rosemary, John, Charlotte, & Mary Halpin

send the spreadsheet however you have it set up already. if you don't have one made don't make one b/c next week i'll be photographing sec 6, which is where I believe a lg majority of those you need pics for are located, also prob sec 7. either way i'll let you know when I add pics so you can take them out of your need pics virtual cemetery.

uhh I was sooo annoyed to hear about the weather. now they are saying snow for Tuesday. crazy you're right it def didn't come in like a lamb, lol. but from previous years we've had I'd say this is the best so far.

RE: James White
lol you are too funny!! That sounds just like my sister's cat :)

I had to reread what you wrote to figure out what whoever wrote the obit was talking about. when I first read it I was like "wait, so they buried her at st. Patrick and then reburied her at ..." so I reread and that's when I realized they meant that they went to st. Patrick church first and then proceeded to the cemetery.

I added a picture to one of your memorials at st. Patrick yesterday or the day before and I can't remember who it was. uhhh so annoying I meant to tell you but figured I would upload all the pics I have first so as not to get side tracked and then let you know. but after uploading 100 people I completely forgot her name. The only thing I can remember is that it was a woman, she passed away between 2012 and 2014, she's buried within a large family plot and she's in section 3.

I am soo glad it's starting to get nice outside. I went to st. Patrick today and bc it was so windy it was actually cold. but whenever the wind died it felt great!! by the time I got home my face looked sunburned, lol, but a few hrs later it's back to normal. I completely forgot to put sunblock on. I guess i'm just not in that mode yet :)

do you have any pics you need from that cemetery? don't put in a request just let me know who you are looking for. I'm going to be taking pics for those in section 6 next week. right now im uploading pics for sec 3 and 4. there are a few that passed within the last 5 yrs so they might be yours. ttyl
