Your requests in this cemetery might be easily found with plot information...It is large but sections are clearly marked and smaller in size...give the office a call (716-649-8338) and edit in plot info....Carol

You should have them. Thanks for wanting them!
Even when you're taking pictures of your relatives, and even when you've called ahead to get location information, you still feel as if you have to watch over your shoulder to see who's following you around! It's a very weird cemetery. It used to be very fashionable, but so many of the in-ground markers have disappeared that it's not even slightly amusing.
Hope most of your family is someplace else! lol

Thanks for the edit for Dorothy. I'll accept it as soon as I finish this note.
I was wondering if you are related, or know the family. I took a bunch of extra photos at Acacia when I was last there, because I know the cemetery is not find-a-grave-friendly. I am not related, and would be very happy to see Dorothy and George with someone who knows them. If you'd like a transfer, just let me know.
Thanks, again. Take care.

Are you related to the Mach family? Adam Matthew Mach is my first cousin, twice removed. I'm trying to find more information on Adam's aunt Rosa, who came over with Michael.
The only record to date that I have is her name on the immigration manifest

|Kitty Lambert-Rudd||Re; Dorothy L Herkey Reilly, Memorial# 133616584|
I don't know if you are interested in posting obituaries to the memorials that you have created but I search out and transcribe ones I find then send them off to the creator when there is an established memorial... if you prefer I not send them to you just let me know and I will stop. If you wish to copy my transcription (BELOW) and post you may do so. I know the value of an obit... small bits of info can open a door.
Thank you for considering this!
Happy Stone Hunting!
(btw she is buried with her husband Robert who predeceased her if you want to link them)....

Thank you very much for taking the time to take a photo of the grave of my ancestor Eleanor Mary Ellis at Alden Evergreen cemetery and uploading it to the website. I live in England so would never have been able to see it.
Many thanks again

Thank you so much for taking the time to locate and photograph the memorial for me it is greatly appreciated. I would like to ask your permission to use your nice photo for a WWII project I am working on, I hope you will not mind, please let me know if OK. Was wondering if by chance you noticed a military marker in place as well. Thanks again for all your efforts in fulfilling my request, Cheers!
