Bio

I started doing research on my family several years ago. My father was a Clifton, and my Mother was a Clark.
On my father's side, I found some Indian Blood and family from the Cayman Islands such as Watler, Bodden, and Alley.
On my Mother's side, I found more Indian blood, and lots of history in Southeast Texas. There were several family's that founded Texas - Lane, Williams, Erwin, and Powell. One of my Clark relatives was one of the "old 300", or the first 300 settlers to legally settle in Texas around 1832 under a Mexican Land Grant.
I am a sixth generation Texan, and still enjoy learning about my family roots.
