I am still trying to catch up with edits. I just made the edit you sent to add "Maine" as Blanche Bowman's place of birth. Pretty safe bet. Probably born right here in Sidney.
When I declined the edit for adding "Bowman" as her maiden name last week, I had no indication that she had ever married, and I was too swamped to go searching for answers. I had a little more time available today to research and found her 11 Mar 1901 marriage to her cousin, Scott Leslie Bowman. I am currently researching them on my "Findagrave Research" family "tree" on ancestry.com. It looks like they had at least 3 children.
Hopefully I acn add more to her and add some family links soon, but I have other "irons in the fire" ;-)
(my immigrant ancestor was a blacksmith, Richard Cooper 1639 - 1724)
Sincerely, Tim Cooper
Sidney, Maine 04330
PS - In 1910 and 1920 they were living in Bedford, Massachusetts...where I lived from 1985 to 1994 at Hanscom Air Force Base.

I always try to add the optional "Short Note" when I have to decline an edit... to better explain why I had to decline, but I am not sure that the notes make it through.
General Reason [No change. The memorial is up to date with submitted edit.] (Required)
Short Note [evidently Blanche never married, hence her last name is her maiden name] (Optional)
Sincerely, Tim Cooper

(about 1,000 feet from Bowman Cemetery)

You are very welcome. There are other Leather/Leathers. A veteran Edward Leathers has a flag but no marker. I'll need to check with the office.

Would you like photos of Eva, Frank, and Marion Huckins also? They are listed as being buried in the same plot. Let me know. I will go out in a few days and to take photos.

Golda's I have not taken based on reported location and will have to wait to take in the spring after the snow is gone.
As Margaret's location is not reported, I will have to do more searching. As I have taken many pictures at this cemetery that I have yet to id and post, I may find it and post sooner. If not it will have to wait until I can again spend the time walking and taking pictures in the spring.
Hang in there and I will find it for you.

I forgot to mention that his wife Alta's inscription was on the back so that photo is posted as well. I made the spouse edit but it hasn't gone through yet.

Aww thank you so much for your nice note and you are so very welcome! I try to get them in great light with a little blue sky in the background in each. Such a breathtaking cemetery so it's a shame not to. It's all about giving thanks for these brave men and women as well...so Happy Thanksgiving!

You are most welcome. I want to help and share with others. It is so much nicer that way. I don't understand how some people at this site seem to have attitude issues. I wonder why they are even doing it.
I figure if I can be of help to others, then there is a chance that it will come back to me.
The "plot" photos have really helped out. It is not my original thought though.
Hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving.
