Find A Grave Memorial# 171988264
Dear Tommy, could you please transfer Ethel Mae Harris over to me. She was my mother-in-law and my son's grandmother. I would be sincerely thankful.

I don't know who did her obituary, but the parents they listed are NOT her parents. She was the daughter of Greenberry Harris and Virgie Roberts. She was also the wife of Johnny Morgan Honeycutt, Sr. (buried in Beefhide, KY).

She is the mother of Robert Dean Honeycutt, Russell Honeycutt, Johnny Morgan Honeycutt, Jr., Jeffrey Honeycutt and Deborah (Honeycutt) Mullins.

Sincerely yours,

Robin (Miller-Honeycutt) Dotson

David Paul Jones
Dear Tommy,

Thank you so much for transferring the management of the memorial of my Uncle David Paul Jones to me. This means so much to me that I will be able to add more to his memorial and be able to honor my sweet Uncle. I appreciate the work you are doing on Find a Grave, and especially the memorial that you created for my Uncle David. Thank you again for the transfer.

Blessings and hugs,

Jennifer Gaulding Low

RE: Otis O Beeler or Otis Beeler
You are welcome. Hey, the Beeler family seemed to name the children the same thing in every family. There's a cemetery in Grainger County where there are 12 Daniel Beelers. Try sorting them out!!!

Otis O Beeler or Otis Beeler
I am doing some research on my Beeler family. It seems to me from the census, that there is an Otis O Beeler, who is the son of James M. Beeler and Mary H. Salling, born 1904, and then there is an Otis Beeler, born 1914, whose parents were James A. Beeler and D. M. Beeler. I think these two people are different. This memorial references James A and D M, but I think the parents are James M Beeler and Mary H Salling. Please check. I could be confused. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

Marion Lynn Cline
Find A Grave Memorial #119811834. Thank you for your fast response to my edit for Marion "Lynn" Cline; however, I have resubmitted the request because "Lynn" was not his nickname -- it was his middle name but the name that he went by -- rather than Marion.

Hey Tommy,

Thanks for your work and for creating the memorial for Uncle Charley and Aunt Louise. I don't expect you to transfer the memorial at all, but will leave that up to you. There is more that I could add, especially regarding Uncle Charlie's miltary service. They were wonderful people and we miss them dearly.

Phillip Whitley Fullen Snead is my 2nd cousin 4 times removed. His great grandfather is my 5 the great grandfather. If you feel like that is a close enough relationship, then my find a grave ID # is 47028020. If not, I fully understand you maintaining his memorial that you worked on. Thanks for your kind correspondence with me!

RE: Fullen Snead
I appreciate your caution. Simply changing Whitney to Whitley (thank you!) was good enough, but I was going the extra mile. My source is Jack Hockett, a gentleman that has gathered much research in the region and co-authored many books about the same. He was in touch with Ralph Snead a man in his 90's that recently passed away. This is what he sent me about it... As you will see, he is quite colorful.

"Dennisio... anytime you see "Whitney" in the area - is is from illiteracy - this is WHITLEY... You have ole Ralphie's line correct except that... "WHITLEY" Fullen Snead was actually born PHILLIP Fullen SNEAD and somewhere, someone changed his name to Whitley! Elizabeth Snead, 1818, had 3 illegit. children - probably by a TAYLOR; she a d/o Oliver Snead and Rachel Kestner with Oliver a s/o Benjamin Snead and Felicia Oliver (d/o NICKERSON Oliver)... Benjamin's parents were Micajah Snead & Sarah Bolling... Felicia's parents were Nickerson Oliver & Elizabeth Durett. Rachel Kestner's parents were Phillip Kestner (b likely in PA - maybe GE) and Elizabeth Merchant, d/o William Merchant & Priscilla (Brooks)? You see, William Dethridge Snead was a son of HIram Fullen Henderson, said to be the s/o WHITLEY Fullen (s/o James Fullen & Sarah WHITLEY. d/o Paul Whitley); other official records say s/o Thos. Henderson & Helen Ley - Scottish immigrants into NYC 31 Mar 1820 and to RCV by Jun 1820. I had just spoken via pooter to ole Ralphie a week before he dispatched to glory - seems he went outta here rahthah fast!"

RE: Your profile photo
Yes, my cemetery vehicle. I dig for buried stones also and I get strange looks. Hmmmm, don't know why. I have recovered well over 200 stones so far. Most of them in Hill Grove. With their permission if course. Abandoned cemeteries I just do them. In 2011 I located an abandoned cemetery that no one knew where it was exactly. Pfoutz cemetery in Montgomery County. All the graves were listed in another cemetery about 2 miles away. There is a lot of errors on Find A Grave concerning 19th century cemeteries. I have all them in my area fixed. I have my own memorial on here also. Almost had to use it last week. Lol, but I escaped. The number is on my profile page if you want to visit me. I wanted to be in control if my photos ranging from 1960 to present day. Have fun graving.

Mae Thomas
Thank you! Yes that actually helps a lot!
Mae had a daughter Betty Ruth who was married to Howard Miller! I just looked at the memorials and it looks right. It shows Betty as still alive which I think is still the case.
Do you mind if I use your pictures in my ancestry tree?

Mae L Thomas?
Hi,

This is a long shot, but... :-)
You added a picture to the memorial for Mae L Thomas (20311281). Wondering if you possibly have other pics of those nearby, or know anything? I am trying to track down where one of my GGreat Aunts, Mae Lea (Vinson) Thomas is buried. The years are correct and she did die in Knoxville.

thank you! Erin
