Hi Ty,

Thank you so much for the picture of my great-great-great grandmother's headstone. My granddaughter is doing a report on her for school.

I appreciate your help.

RE: Lucy A Hamner
Ty,

Were you able to find out more info on the Lucy A. Hamner. That was the only one I could find with the date you were looking for. I will have time next week to check with the library to see if they have record of another Lucy in that grave yard. Also did you go to the ohiogravestones.org site and look at all the Hamner photos that I took??

I put all my photo's on that site. If you need me to dig a little more for her or need anything else let me know.

Wendi

Yes please send me the other Barrie photos for this cemetery. I will take the photo request off for this memorial. I was told at one time there was a tornado that took out one tombstone right after it was placed in the cemetery so maybe that is what happened to other graves as well.

Thank you for taking your time to find Benjamin's headstone. I did not know that Ida's was not there. They are my great grandparents. Thanks again, J'dean

RE: Sister Dositheus
One suggestion, Ty, since I see you're a new member of Find A Grave: If you zoom in on the gravestone, or crop more tightly (depending on what your camera or photo software allows you to do), it makes it much easier to read. If you look at other grave photos on the site, most of them have very little "white space" around the stone itself.

(And that's not a complaint -- I VERY much appreciate your determination!)

Thanks,

Sarah

Sister Dositheus
Thanks so much for getting this one, Ty -- we're trying to get photos of all the deceased Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia, Kan., and she is one of only 16 who are not buried at the Motherhouse!

RE: McAleer burials
again i really appreciate you taking the time to actually go look the family name has been spelled so many ways over the years from M'Lear to MacAleer as you saw Pat and his brothers James John and Alexander were the first McAleer's in their family to read and write Pat's wife Mary could not read or write so i'm sure many times the people filling out the forms just spelled the name as best they could again i thank you so very much for your time and trouble in doing this for us
