You have a duplicate of this memorial ending in 14 or 15. There is also a duplicate for her husband Carl H. Stinson ending in one of the same numbers. I made all connections using the two memorials ending in 12 and 13. Their son Joe Harris Stinson is the son I made the connections too. Laura was a Rice.

RE: Hammons Family Cemetery
So sorry it has taken me so long to reply. My aunt who is the heart and soul of our family has been very sick, so I have been taking care of her. It is easier to get to the graveyard from London.

From the intersection of 25 (Main Street) and Hal Rogers Parkway, turn East on Hal Rogers Parkway (9906), go 3.0 miles to Johnson Rd (472). Turn left on Johson Rd. Go 6.7 miles to Pistol Creek Rd (687). Turn right on Pistol Creek. Go 2.5 miles to Portersburg Rd. Turn left onto Portersburg Rd. Go .2 miles, the first road that isn't a driveway is May Cemetery Rd. It is across from several mailboxes and down off a little hill. I have no idea why they named it the May Cemetery Rd, there are o Mays buried over there and the land was originally owned by Garlands. There are several trailers out there now. The graveyard is at the end of the road. If it has been raining a lot, like it has been lately, going down the hill to the cemetery isn't always a good idea. The road down the hill is not the best.

From Manchester, take 687 towards London to Portersburg Rd. Sorry I don't have the mileage from Manchester. If you need any info on anyone buried in The Hammons Family Cemetery, feel free to ask me. I am related to everyone buried there. My email is Amythysta@aol.com

Ashley Jean Jones
White-Howard Cemetery
I am messaging you because I came across my step-dad, Anthony "Tony" West's," grave site on here. This family cemetery is known as the Howard Cemetery on Goose Rock. There are also 3 other cemeteries located right side by side to this one. One being the White Cemetery, then the Smallwood Cemetery, and the other being the Goose Rock Cemetery. These are all separated by chain link fences. I just wanted to pass this information along to clarify all of this.

Bill Adams
I really appreciate you showing the photo of Bill Adams in Hopkins Cemetery. He was my husband's uncle and we never knew where he was buried. There are two of his children buried with him also.

Would you care to transfer them to me?

Thanks again, Sandy Carson Adams #47874013

RE: House Cemetery
The only thing I remember about getting to the cemetery is that it was on Highway 472 in Fogertown just after crossing over into Clay county. I am sorry that I can not be of more help. I remember that I turned right on a road and there was a place to pull off and it was behind a house on the left side of the road. The last time i was there it was very well maintained.

Sorry I can't offer more help.

Tammy

RE: Massey Family Cemetery
Coming from Manchester on Rt. 421, turn right onto Jacks Branch Road. Turn left onto a gravel driveway by a green iron gate. The driveway goes to a house and the graveyard is by the house behind the shed and next to a chicken yard on a hill.

I noticed the obituary says he is buried in the "Stivers Cemetery," but you have a photo of his headstone and it is listed in the James Reid Cemetery. Is Stivers Cemetery an alternate name for James Reid Cemetery?

Thanks.

RE: Alice Caudill
Hi! I do have Alice in my database, the daughter of William Moses "Big Will" Caudill (1873-1916) and Elizabeth "Bettie" Caudill (1884-1940). But I don't have anything for her after the 1910 Census. I do know that after Big Will's death Bettie married Gilbert Henson in 1918. Is it possible Alice took his name? She was not living in the home in the 1920 Census for Clay County, Kentucky. Since she was 16 by that time it is very possible that she has already married and moved out. May I recommend if you haven't already, look for an Alice Caudill or Alice Henson marriage in the late 1910's in Clay County, KY. Good luck...and let me know what you find!
