|Ginger W||picture request please|
My classmates and I have been looking for Faye for over 3 years and I ordered her death certificate along with ancestry site and have SS and birth n marriage records proving the info is wrong but I am requesting a pictures of the front and back of her tombstone or grave marker.
I am sending you the info so you can under stand that the info will not match but it is indeed the same person.
Faye P. "Faye" Chism Wooton (Wooten)
Birth: Apr. 1, 1963
Death: Feb. 7, 2003
Some of the information on the death certificate is wrong and I will fix that with the state but other legal documents that Faye filled out verifies that her Birthday was April 1, 1963
and the tombstone or grave marker may show the wrong info using Nov. 1, 1962 as her DOB.
Leave the information on the find a grave site as I put it up because I have other legal documents that proves it is correct when the final data given at birth is not correct and I will fight to have it all fixed for Faye with the State of Kentucky.
Thank You for your devoted time and for the pictures.

Thanks so much for trying.
I know that the graves are very old.

They are connected to William Berry who came from VA in about 1818. I have done that family tree and am from William's son Lewis Berry.
I could email you the tree if you like.

I wish I could help you with directions but I was lost for most of that day. My sister-in-law was a Rutledge and I had corresponded with a Rutledge in Oregon. We met him in Winchester and he took us to several cemeteries in Clark County that had Bush, Rutledge, and another cemetery but now I have no idea where they were. Since then I have lost contact with him so I can't even help you there.

I want to thank you for the research you have done. Knowing that there is no marker and most likely no burial in this cemetery helps me more than you might realize. You time and effort are greatly appreciated. Mary Lavezzari

Thank you so much for attempting to get photos for Therasey and Reuben Sidwell. I know that it can be frustrating to search and not find a marker and really appreciate your help. Don Stout

I grew up in that part of the country and have spent some warm weather weeks back home surveying cemeteries. It took me the better part of 3 days last fall to walk around and write down all the graves in Little Kanawha (those with names - there are a lot with only last name or Unknown on it). FYI - that cemetery is the location of a number of small graveyards that had to be moved before the Burnsville Dam backwaters would have flooded them over. There were a considerable number of unmarked graves for which the Army Corps of Engineers placed markers for in Little Kanawha. I will try to put Fall Run and Falls Mill on my list of those to visit this summer. Troy is marginally related: his Aunt Allie married a Fleming and she was my brother-in-laws grand aunt. Do you know the relationship of Margie who is buried next to Troy?

You have his burial at Falls Mill Cemetery; however I found a marker for him in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens in Heaters (Braxton Co, WV. His obit states that is where he was to be buried. If you will switch cemeteries (the photo on your page is nice!), then I will delete my record of him.

Sure, they are in section H of the cemetery, in rows 7-9. I always enter Calvary Cemetery off of County K (on the west end of the cemetery). Heading south on Co. K you will see the cemeteries on your right. Turn right onto 18th st (I am not sure it is marked though, but the cemetery entrance is pretty obvious). Once you turn, Calvary cemetery is then on your right and Greenwood cemetery is on your left. Take the second driveway on your right and stop right away. Section H is on your right. Head to rows 7-9, the markers are pretty close to 18th street. I'm trying to get you a map...we'll see. Sorry you need to attend a funeral, but I hope you find time to get to Calvary. Good luck, Jenean

Yes, go ahead and use the photos. (I wish the exposure had been a little better!) Thanks for asking. A credit line is great.
Also, the Hasey monument shares that large plot with a Wentworth family monument. I didn't upload a photo of the entire plot, but can send it to you if you like.

Thank you for the photo of Virginia Olson's grave. Unfortunately, I don't think this is the same person. My aunt died in 1972 and her middle initial would be a P for Pearl or a T for Taylor.
I will contact the cemetery to find out if she has a marker.

Thank you for the photo of my great-grandparents' grave. The family is from Racine, but I've never made it up to Wauwatosa, don't even make the 8-hour trip to Racine much any more. Thanks again.
