Thanks for the photo of Major Siler's gravestone.

He was the pilot of a B-29 that crashed near Tokyo during a fire raid of May 26th 1945. He was flying in B-29 serial 42-65327 (Princess Eileen IV).

7 men died in the crash...5 other bailed out and were taken prison by the Japanese.

Fred C. Lea
Dalton,

THANK YOU! Very much for taking the time to get out to take the photo of my family member Fred Lea. Your photo was what we needed to confirm that this was our Fred. Without your effort we never would have known his final resting place. Thank you again!

Sorry... bad link in the other. Thanks for the great DesPortes volunteer photos, quite nice! I had just about given up on ever seeing this marker. If you ever need any favors from Richmond, Virginia, USA, just give me a holler. Rich.

Charles Pierce Jr.
Thank you for the picture. May I use the picture on my Ancestry tree? I'm also hunting for his father Charles L Pierce b 11/8/1885 d 3/12/1962 in Panama. I'm assuming he is beside him in the cemetery. I didn't realize at the time this was his son. If you are able I would appreciate his father. Thanks again.

Goodmorning Mr. Johnson,

Thank you so much for taking the picture of Willie James. I truely didn't think it would be fulfilled.I thought I would have to wait for a trip with the military before I would be able to take the picture myself. I truely appreciate what you have done for my husband and Willies mother and the rest of his brothers and sister, who have not even seen his burial site. This will make then so happy.
Thank you and I will try and return this favor for you in the future.

Thank You!
Thank you very much for taking the time to photograph the grave of my Great Uncle. He moved from the Portland area many years ago to work on the Panama Canal. There is no chance I will ever see his grave and the photo means a great deal.
