|Dennis W. Cavanaugh||William E Garlitz|
Hey Carrie --
I am trying to figure out how we are related... my guess is likely somewhere on the Cavanaugh / Donald / Garlitz side.
Here is why I am curious - I was looking at the headstone photo that you posted for William E Garlitz in Sewickley and noted that I have the Negative for that photo. I don't have the print so my guess is that my Mother sent you that photo at some point. My Mom is Ruth Mary Donald Cavanaugh.
So what's up cuz?

Added pages from the burial register with details of 2 Booths at death who i suspect are yours - the plot details and other bits are shown which if you add to your request will encourage someone to go for you i hope.

You are quite welcome! Thank you for including directions to the plot! I was only able to fulfill half the requests for that cemetery... but yours was the first I found, because it was the only one with directions!

Dick Townsend is my great-uncle, I was wondering if you would mind transferring the account to me?
Thanks for the consideration.

|William Cole||RE: Matchett|
My grandmother was Zula Maude Matchett. She was a sister of Sammy, Neal, Jobie and Eleanor. Zula married John D Bamford.
I knew Joseph and Blanch, although they were in advanced dementia they were still happy. Eleanor was the only one I never met as she died young.
Sammy had wonderful sense of humor, loved children and loved to tease his sister. He did a lot of photography and developed his own pictures.
Neal always had a twinkle in his eye and made friends easily.
Jobie was fun and very intelligent. He was a fund of information on the family genealogy especially the McBride branch.
My grandmother died when I was young. I remember her as a very warm and strong person. My parents could never quite figure me out but she did. She said "Leave him alone. He'll figure it out."
My mother told me that she was on the phone with her grandfather (Joseph Sr)when he told her he was sitting with his feet in the ice box to keep them warm.

Are you a Matchett relative?

Thanks for the reply--I have been getting a run-around with this family for years and had a glimmer of hope for some new info, but I will keep on looking.

|Bonisue||Eliza Ann Eicher Garlitz|
Do you know the names of her parents? I am researching my family in an effort to publish a family history and there are Eichers intermarried with my family in several places.
Some of my ancestors: Murray - Prinkey - Miller - Schneider/Snyder - Hall - Nicholson/Nichelson from the area of Normalville, PA.
Any help appreciated!

My name is Shirley & I saw that you posted pictures & information regarding some of the Zimmermans of PA. I am interested in possibly learning more about them as they are an unknown part of my family, too.
Is it possible that you can contact me, or I contact you so as I may learn more information?
Please respond to let me know.

I am working on locating family information for my boyfriend, Jeffrey Sawczyszyn, and came your request for information about Metro Sawczyszyn and that seems to by his grandfather. I am just in the beginning of my search and your post is the first I have come across. So far I have no information so I look forward to any assistance you can offer.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I have deleted Sarah's memorial from Northern Cemetery, I added it based on her death certificate, but, since the picture of the stone has her listed, I have deleted mine.

I am looking for one of the daughters of Connie and John. Her name was Carol. There was another daughter, MaryKay. I know Connie and John as I visited at their home while I was younger and Carol and I were best friends. We lost touch and no one could seem to locate her for our school reunions. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
