RE: wrong information
Thanks for your reply. I have a copy of Nannie Lee Bridge's death certificate if you wish a copy. Since some family members taught themselves to read and write, which I think is quite an accomplishment, I can understand how misinformation can be given and that memories can fade two years after her December 1940 death. Maybe the family was trying to hide that she was divorced--I don't know--yet it was in the papers that she was and gave her maiden name. I just wonder if there is something that can be done such as adding a flower vase with her corrected name. Anyone doing family research will have trouble finding her. I only did because of looking at the list of internments at that cemetery and knowing her date of birth and death (a year and a day wrong on the tombstone) which included other relatives.
I'm also trying to piece together information about her death and have a few newspaper articles and an indictment concerning it. As far as I can tell the charge of Lane Bolton murdering her was dropped to just leaving the scene of an accident and not rendering aid.
Thanks again.

wrong information
What a shame Nannie (Netta) Lee, the grandmother I never knew, has so much wrong information on her tombstone. She was murdered December 26 (not 27), 1941 and was married to James Park Baggerly not Bagley and went back to her maiden name of Bridges after a divorce. Perhaps, someday, I'll see if I can get her a new tombstone or at least have something added to this one.
