Belyea
Ooops. Abraham Belyea not in Green River. But have in my notes that Nehemiah was probably buried in Green River. Sorry for any confusion.

Belyea family
Melissa, Do you have easy access to the Green River Cemetery? I think my great grand uncle, Nehemiah Belyea and his wife Lillian (Mason) Belyea are buried there. Nehemiah was twin to Abraham Belyea who is buried there. Thanks for any help you are able to provide. Beverly Burnett

Mt Carbon
Hi Melissa, I'm not sure if you're the same person who asked this question on the forums, but I'm pretty sure Mt Carbon is New Hill cemetery. That area was once known as New Hill. I went there to take pictures a couple weeks ago, but as soon as I stepped out of the car three pit bulls came charging across the cemetery at me. I, um, got back in the car. ;) I'm planning on trying again soon, so please make any photo requests so I know what graves to look for first before the dogs show up! (I'm sure they're friendly, but don't want to find out the hard way they are not)

Thayer Photos
Just another quick question..... were the Thayer stones in Green River Cemetery in Geenfield? Or were they in Village Cemetery in Charlemont? (I ask because I had Mary in Green River, and Marc had Edwin in Village.....obviously they are in the same cemetery along with their children!) Thanks again for your help!

Thayer Photos in Village Cemetery
Thanks so much for getting these photos. Very much appreciated. Can you do me a favor, though....can you go back in and post the photos rotated counter clockwise so they can be more easily viewed? This can be done in your photo editor before reposting. Thanks again!

That is kind of peculiar, but in his case, he was hit by a trolley car.

Thanks again :)

photo request
I can't thank you enough for this picture. I visited the town 2 years ago to find the house the family used to live in. I didn't know this little boy (my great uncle)even existed until a few weeks after that. I haven't been able to get back, and this really means alot to me.
